Yup, came on it when I bought it a few years ago. Good compromise imo, although I do like the naked look also. I've dabbled with getting a cup spoiler, even sourced another GW boot to fit it to, but I know i'll end up hating it after a few months! indecisive ftl :(

Exactly, some make it out like its a whole different car ;) The only thing i wish is that the front bumper was lower...... it needs to be as low as the bottom of the rubber splitter, then the splitter on the bottom of that, if that makes sense :o Needs to be level with the skirt imo

Not far off, she averages around 40 mpg in the fezzie, but servicing/tax/insurance is more expensive on the Clio

Re: Purple Haze 200. step backwards imo..... Quicker rack is a good noticeable difference when I drove the two. The rest is just 182/172. They feel virtually identical in road manners, (as its the same car lets not forget ;)) 1/2/3rd make it feel better round town due the the slightly shorter...

But why does it have to be quicker? You could argue that a 172 isnt that much quicker than a Williams which is nearly 20 years old. Its kept the same pace on purpose. The Clio and maybe the MINI have had the same sort of figures since the early 2000's... if you want quicker, you go up the...

But they're not slow? They are on par.... Few years ago in my albi I had a wee tussel with a 172 cup and had the legs on it. Wasnt trying?? He came on here and said fair play the 197 had the legs on it. (ill dig out the link after if i remember) Granted, they are more thirsty, I average 30mpg...

The 197 just works imo, it was how the Mk3 was supposed to look, not some half arsed nose slapped on it to 'freshen' it up.... Its a good looking car with a few tweeks imo :)
