I echo the comment about tyres. I would say get a splitter (carbon would match your car better) and spray your boot button white! I really don't understand why hardly anyone n CS colour codes the boot button - makes it look soooooooo much better!

This is my first time buying decent kit (been a halfords cleaning product buyer in the past.
My routine...
I wouldn't personally. The JC5 gearboxes are known for being a bit s**t so I wouldn't take the risk by rushing the box with a short shift link if you plan on keeping it for any length of time.
+1 to what everyone else has said.
If you take all of the carpet, rear seats, trim etc from your car it will make more of a difference than the £1300 you wanted to spend.
Service it and drive it. If you are dying to go faster strip it out and cam it. It'll still be a clio though.
Or buy a cammed...
Haldex is used in the A3 and TT and the (proper) Torsen system is used in A4, A6 etc which is the full on mechanical 4wd.
Haldex as far as I know is front wheel drive until it decides it needs to send some to the rear, which can sometimes be halfway round a bend...
Started the phase 1 up, went to move it forward a bit so I could get in the boot and the car didnt move but went into gear fine. Suspected diff circlip. Im gonna scrap the piece of s**t!
Quite possibly, but powder coating is a thicker/heavier coating and is more industrial so it's no surprise the finish wasn't as good tbf.
I'll be surprised (but pleased for you) if you get the set done for £60, especially if they're getting rid of the scuffs etc.
How so - see my comment about...
I've had a set powdercoated before (not at bham) for £20 and the finish wasn't very good and I ended up having them done again. Cheap places like that are fine for gates and railings etc but I will never take them a set of wheels again.
Sounds about right, though you forgot the bout where he spent £42 on spark plugs and however much on a front grille, all of which could (should) have gone towards the belts..
did a 90 mile round trip in the 182 today mainly motorway but some town driving with speed bumps etc. had the climate on full blast - Trip showed 46mpg for the journey. Had 1 passenger and a spare engine lol
Hmm, What was it you said in your other thread?
Yeah.
Car wasn't a bargain but about right. I paid muchhhhh less for my 182 which is in a better colour and has both cup packs. Yes it also needs the belts doing. Has 55k so not spaceship miles either
I think someone has had a replacement windscreen on my 182ff and not had the rain sensor put back on. If I want the auto lights/wipers to work again is it as simple as just buying a sensor off someone breaking a car and fitting it?
cheers
