rokkors are the same ones as the ktec branded ones, so search on here for ktec coilovers to read peoples views.
most bbs wheels will be lower offset than your renault wheels which means they will stick out more than standard so you won't need any spacers.
might have trouble with them rubbing if...
Yes, didn't notice the OP had a 182 which is 205 45 16, not 195 45 16 like the 172. In that case the vredestein ones are £92. compared to 55.90 for 15".
No identical dunlop tyre for comparison but the nearest dunlop is £86.89. compared to the £46.20 for 15".
For aesthetic reasons. They wanted to make it look more sporty so they would sell more cars I'm guessing. 15s are better, you can't really argue against that. Cheaper, better ride, better handling..
This.
I have done this a few times and have always found it very resonable and easy, they even send you updated policy documents which you can use to go and tax the car.
bit of a hijack - Ollie, how far in advance can you quote for?
cheers
revs on the motorway should be no noticeable difference because 195 45 16 and 195 50 16 are very nearly the same overall circumference.
I vote 15s, cheaper tyres, comfier ride, + probably lighter.
Do springs deteriorate so to speak? The set on my car look pretty old and have a fair bit of surface rust but I am going to get them shot blasted and powder coated unless there is a reason to scrap them and get new ones? They don't have any cracks and seem to be working fine..
Yup I bought one of these and the bolts aren't long enough. Did a bit of looking around and it turns out its actually for a pug 406..
get a renault one
Sounds alright to me.
If you have a search on here for dephaser you should find plenty of info.
Tbh.. if you're spending as much as you are you may as well change it for the piece of mind. It may not be a problem now but later down the line in say 10k or 20k miles if it starts rattling you'll...
you should be able to see the cars for sale without paying though. and ps the clio is going to seem quite slow in a straight line compared to your ibiza
Yes you should do the whole auxiliary belt kit - not just the auxiliary belt. the aux belt kit is a 3 year 36k interval i believe and the timing belt is 72k /5 year. may also be worth replacing the dephaser pulley (intake cam pulley) as it is part of the vvt system and is known to fail (will...
Hello, welcome
If you're mechanically minded and have done cambelts before you should be fine - but make sure you get all the proper locking tools for the job. If not I'd take it to one of the specialists on here - not toooo expensive and no risk to you.
Welcome, as said the fitting is the w5w or 501 (same thing, different name) standard wedge bulb, so get yourself on ebay and type in w5w white led. get SMD ones like this...
Yeah I've got one fitted, replaces a few bits on and around the gear lever to reduce play/sloppyness so it feels more stiff and positive. if you do a search on here there should be a few threads about it
