Do yourself a favour, and don't refit a new gasket. Thank me later. I used nordlocks, looked into inconel studs e.t.c But at the end of the day, removing the gasket solved every issue i had.

I had oil coming out the catch tank under boost, it was a cracked piston.

Wouldnt bother by adding the complication of a boost controller for an extra PSI or 2. Just get a better T3 sized actuator if you havent already and wind a coupe of extra turns of preload on the turnbuckle arm. You'll mantain the boost you want, and it will hold it.

Only probably i've had with mine is the mini USB cable is shite. it's so loose now and you have to push it to the side for it to register charging. I bought a few new cables of ebay and its much better, so it seems the cable wears and not the port (thankfully).

Yeah i have a MAC valve wired straight into the GEN90, and as you mentioned, i had to have my firmware updated to do this. Reacts quite fast in closed loop mode and holds rock solid boost so worth it. I want to have mine setup for boost by gear on the next build :)

You must be the only other person ive seen who has GEN90 controlled boost, did Chris@EFI set it all up / wire it for you?

I dont think your going to find an off the shelf Vband outlet housing for a T28, they make them for the popular models, 2860RS, 2871R, 3071/76 e.t.c but not really for the old T28's that have minor variations accross models.

4 paddle on stock cover plate is fine for everday. It bites a bit higher, and the margin for bit point is smaller but you get used to it within a couple of miles of driving.

It depends on the torque level i think tbh. I had mine mapped on low boost on the rollers was fine on the rollers. Hit the road and within about 2 minutes anything past 4k in 3rd and it slipped, and this was on a failry new clutch. It had to be toned down, that was aprently ~240ft lb.

I noticed the Sinus valves have a really thin valve seat face, what benefits does this have out of interested? I thought it would be bad because less heat can be transfered out the valve, but i guess it must have its benefits?

I shimmed my F7 pump years ago, it worked well. From memory i used 4 x M5 washers inside the metal cup that sits on the reataining "R" clip. Cant remember the exact readings but it was a healthy boost.

The exhaust seal isnt fussy, can fit flush or be pushed in, it shouldnt leak what position its in as long as its not hanging out the head. The inlet seal can sit slightly pround, it certainly wont hurt, worst case is when the dephaser pulley is tightened it will push the seal in to where it...

Im surprised the normal people havent been along to say Supertech valves are still 2 piece but welded higher up. I went for Sinus valves as they are true 1 piece forged valved, they are beautiful lol. Come in at the same sort of price as supertechs aswell.
