A standard vauxhall corsa c round the corner from me has a big 'wheel whores' sticker on the bumper, it has completely standard wheels just sprayed black. :fail:
I like the all black look too. But to be fair you would still get that with the standard one.
Standard bonnet would get my vote, as I don't like loads of carbon, a little is enough IMO, over kill FLT
I would say it's had a fault in the dash and someone has put different dials in. Probably a genuine reason, but you and the previous owner should have been told. I'd take it back/ ask for a partial refund to acknowledge the higher milage if your happy with the car anyway.
I don't think it can protect the paint from heat at all, it's only think carpet? If it was for heat wouldn't it be metal like the exhaust heat shields? Plus there is nothing very hot in that area anyway, it's only the inlet manifold, the exhaust doesn't pass anywhere near it.
My dad had a...
If it was an off the shelf map for a standard car I'd get an rs tuner. It's the fact my car is fitted with cat 428 cams, matched inlets, a yozza sport exhaust and an induction kit, so it needs to go on rollers to be mapped really.
I have messaged who you guys recommended and asked for a quote...
Does anyone have any contact details for him and have any idea how much he charges for a rr map? Would be looking to get it booked in next month if possible.
In response to "wouldn't take it to a non Clio specialist" neither would I, that's why I'm asking and already looked into k-tec who are...
Hi, looking to get my 182 mapped next month as it's got cat cams and a few other mods, but not been mapped. I've heard bad things about k-tec, but unsure on any alternative specialists in the south. Can anyone recommend any alternatives and give contact details if possible.
Thanks
Hi, just got a new automatic headlight sensor for my 182, just wondering how to remove the old one. I can't seem to get the trim off of above the rear view mirror. Any tips?
Re: My Inferno Orange 182 Project Thread - Fast Road/Occasional track day car....
Looks really nice mate. Not normally a fan of inferno, but this one really is nice!
Hi,
I have a FF 182, I was thinking about taking off the sound deadening from the under side of the bonnet as it looks horrible and its dirty and pretty much impossible to clean.
My question is will this increase wind noise on the motorway much? I've seen a few people on here have done it, and...
Unless you have an invoice saying it's cammed, assume it's not. It sounds standard. I have 2 sports, one is standard, the other has cat 438 cams and matched inlets, and from hearing them idle, you couldn't tell the difference.
The 5k kick is also standard to them all, it's just because the...
If you don't enjoy it anymore, then sell. But don't forget changing cars always costs, changing insurance, new car will inevitably be more money than you get for yours, and then the things that always seem to go wrong in the first month of ownership lol
I'd say sell the 205, as it is you'll probably get decent money for it and be able to put that to good use. Turning it into a track car will take all the value out of it. Clio is a good base for a track car as parts are everywhere, pretty good performance and pretty reliable. I have a 172 cup...
