They sound great. They're always on. (I have a Bose soundlink mini as well and I think it sounds great, but its a pain in the ass when it goes to sleep).
The play 1 is a brilliant speaker.
Do it one speaker at a time, it really is an amazing setup. Not the cheapest, but its good.
The fact...
There's probably a thread buried miles deep that's ancient.....so...a new one.
What are your "go to" android apps, ones you cannot live without.
I'm not talking about apps like tapatalk, but more like apps that enhance the whole android experience.
Just wondering if there's another amazing...
Yeah, I've upgraded to parallels 10 as well.
God, I remember installing 10.0 and all the stripy goodness...then it getting toned down in every single release since then.
Yosemite sure does look Perdy. And its Unix.
I can tell you how you would feel about the phone if you had a play with one.
You'd be back on here begging for an invite!
As each hour that goes past I get more impressed with the phone. It really is seriously impressive, especially when you consider the price.
I known I sound like a phone...
Glad to be of assistance!
Nova launcher is must have (with the paid prime upgrade). You can change the desktop, change app names, icons etc. With prime shows badges on apps that support it, the app drawer can be customised you can create your own sections, hide apps from the drawer and so...
Yeah, even if this one broke I wouldn't hesitate to get another. It really is hands down the best phone I've owned.
There is a warranty, but they're slow and it takes a few weeks to get an RMA and then god knows how long to go through the process.
Its a punt. If the phone was 700 quid then...
And this appears to be the only downside to their operation, support is slow currently.
Startup company in China, you take a chance.
I will say this, the only phones I've ever needed support on/replacements are iPhones. Yes it was easy, but then I really didn't expect for the premium leader...
Any particular reason? The CM11 version it comes with is pretty bloody good. I've just installed my must haves like dashclock and nova launcher.
Love it.
I'll try to take a photo or two over the weekend. When it arrived it was in a cardboard box and I thought it looked a bit cheap, but once I opened it there was a top quality box inside which screamed premium. Once I got the phone out I was immediately impressed, its absolute premium, it looks...
Yeah, the charger is a bit of a beast with the adaptor....doesn't really bother me though.
It's hard to explain just how premium this phone feels, especially considering the price. It has to be bargain of the century.
Now what to do with 64GB as I'm used to 8! What crap can I put on it? lol
I'll try later!
Everything screams premium and quality from the phone, even the packaging is awesome. The feel of the phone is amazing, love the soft touch feel on the back.
Got everything installed on it now, need to do a little bit more setting up but I'm very impressed. Switching back to...
Yeah, we've got both Google Music and Spotify, there are artists that appear on one that don't on the other.
Wife uses my spotify account on her phone in offline mode, just has to authorise every 30 days so it keeps working. Both Google & Spotify are hooked into our sonos, we can literally...
You hit the "Keep on device" button on the albums you're actually going to listen to, you can do this in Google All Music and Spotify, plays local. You can free up the space by unticking them and simply switch albums by hitting the keep on device again.
Works like a charm.
For those interested photos from the OPO using the app addicted mentioned. (Bearing in mind that this guy is a professional photographer so he's always going to get the absolute best out)

Out of interest, what's not to like about CM11, it's stock but with a few extra configuration options?
I mistakenly thought it was full of crap so never bothered, but I installed it on my N4 and wish I'd had done it ages ago.
It is a really good feature.
You can actually burn the image to USB stick which will make installation a lot quicker as well. I guess you've read the guides on creating a bootable image from the installer download? Its not difficult, just a bit of an odd process as its not really the way to...
