That's just not true. I can quite happily replace the default browser and mail programs under OS X, hey it even provides a nice list of compatible programs along with a default for any file type. Heck I could even do it under system 9 when Microsoft actually provided a version of internet...

Wireless. I have powerline adaptors plugged into the router but that's just to the TiVo boxes can see each other and so that they can be controlled via the app, oh and a raspberry pi is also connected to it. We use netflix a lot, never have any problems with it. I don't ever check our usage! ​
