Mother fucker not even a pm to ask if it's okay
I've just popped in here to post it..... For all those wondering why I didn't list it last month, who actually had any money a couple of days before pay day in January?
It's lucky I love you Parker ;)
The standard camshafts work best with the Rs2, We're currently in the trailing process with RIKUS Automotives semi group N tool which has broken the 200bhp rs2 with standard camshafts, hopefully we'll be able to confirm this in the coming weeks :)
Smart looking eco run around, There's alot of hate for the "reps" but my brother did the same to his 1.6 simply as he generally is not interested in the performance/cost & just wanted a tidy little car, tbh though the 1.6 16v (k4m) is still a nippy little block!
Stone Automotives PH1 172 Mile Eater - 127,000 currently!!!
Well as most of you know I sold the ever so freshly restored mint PH1 172 just before Christmas as I was driving to the French Alps and didn't fancy loosing it on the drive there! Mountain climbs + Snow/Ice - Clio fail likely!
So she...
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?568714-FINALLY-Top-mount-modified-part-from-Renault! How much faster did you go with these then???
:approve:
Lots of love,
The south
I thought we were the southern fairy's, seems they have moved up north ;)
If the mounts are locked up in there relaxed position the vibration really is minimal, If the gearbox mount is fitted first & tightened then the upper engine mount the vibration can be pretty bad, you really need to fit...
Okay if that is the case, I would let it go... But what you forget is that once JMS closed down people looking for a specialist, ended up using other Renault specialists Some of which ended up at 519Automotive, what you didn't realise is that I would be back on the scene which would mean & what...
The heat soak wasn't a major issue on the move, Traffic it built up fairly high but as said more development, decent heat shield could have proved a winner! I ended up building a heat shield set-up for the RS2, Worked great so could easily work on your set-up etc
Best part was an Evo naca...
Back then it was development work between Torque of the devil & Surrey Rolling road so It was far from ideal using the two to compare but they were both Dyno Dynamics, the best set-up was the first using the v6 airbox, I remember one of the SRR days where a member had a V6 airbox with a feed...
If its any help drop me a pm if your in the area & I can try & get you booked in :)
Charlie's normally very flexible with last minute power runs! The SRR days are normally held once a year :dapprove:
Look forward to seeing what you guys come up with on the induction kit, When I was JMS we spent a fair amount of time playing with set-ups, Few creations were made, My favourite for the stock inlet -
Shame the V6 airbox was pulled from production!
Another one that showed good results was...
No worries :)
Its great to see how its turned out, you really should have seen the hours Mike & Chip have put into this with such attention to detail, You guys should be very proud of the finished piece!
Laine is there any chance you'll be back at Surrey RR to compare to your previous results? I'm honestly saying that in the sense to see what you have genuinely gained as chip has said, there have been many instances of cars going in "under-powered" on the first run, When Paul at RS tuning had...
The 201bhp result was after the previous "mechanic" had there way, so graph is as good as she gets in terms of cam timing! the graph in question -
You don't see me sitting there slagging him off every day on the forum even though he continues to try and take digs at my products & services...
Well I've finally ran out of space on the Iphone 4, my ever growing collection of music, aps & sat-nav has used up all up... but then my brother told me about converting my music to aac through itunes?? so supposedly I loose quality but gain alot of space, any one use it? thoughts on the sound...
There should be an m10 bolt through there, I'll grab a picture when I'm back on the computer, Should have had a bolt in there if it was fitted at JMS but Tom carried out fitting of the Rs2 group buy,
James
Leave it out, Have you eaten in there? The only good thing about that place is I know my guts will be cleared the following morning ;)
Normally hold the staines meet on the last thursday of the month but the winter time hardly any one's interested!
You'll never see the same gains as the megane would from calibration work, Welcome to NA! From the feedback I've had from mapping the 197's is improved cold start driving, throttle response & the removal of the flat spot's, We normally see 4-10bhp depending on what other modifications you have...
