Nothing much to report this month, I have bought 'non-sticky' interior grab handles and given them a glossy renault 'mercury grey' (silver) finish, as that's something I do like in the PH1 interior Also replaced the old number plate illuminator unit with a brand new one from RPD, always...

I was surprised actually, good turn out and a good mixture of cars/owners, they're fairly regular meets and I would think after a couple it would be largely the same faces/cars but definitely worth a mooch around, I disappeared when the 'ere lads, listen to my pops and bangs' started haha

Not sure if it counts to be 'spotted' at meets/shows but I thought it was cool and worth grabbing a picture of! At a local car meet, Pompey d-day museum.

Might run down and have a look around, shame the weathers not better to get the car looking good though

Just something to keep this rolling. With the miserable weather about at the moment, my car is doing journeys to work and journeys to my girlfriends and not much else. All the products I spent many days putting onto my paint pre winter seem to have just about worn off in terms of beading etc...

Might go down that route if I do have to change it out, tbh I have a battery cover as well so that makes me look even more OCD haha, I just remember noticing it when buying the car and thinking it was a nice little detail

Looked everywhere online and couldn't find them! Good going but, yep, 100 is a little OTT for a battery, not sure even I can justify that haha

With the cold weather and shorter journeys my battery is showing signs of wearing a bit thin. Will take it for a long drive to see if it deep charges again, BUT does anyone know if it's still possible to get hold of original 'Renault boutique' branded batteries??? I know it seems stupidly...

Another tiny update, fitted a new gearstick gaiter ordered from RPD as the plastic tabs had broken on the old one (probably the colder weather recently)

When I had the front wipers off my car I bought a '4" reversible gear puller' from screwfix for about a tenner, did the trick without causing any damage, guess it'd be the same on the rear, bitta wd40 first will always help too

Jacking on the sills is a risky business on these, sheer weight of the engine I suppose... Yeah definitely wouldn't like to see the sills fold up [emoji15] prevention is better than cure they say, and I stick by that! haha

First tiny update to this thread, My boot has not been locking recently, common problem on all clios. So I bought a 'new' boot lock motor/solenoid from a breakers; I think the specific component that goes is the little motor inside, burns out eventually... can just see it in this photo with the...
