Is there anyone who knows if they are available, I'm not a Kev trying to bling my car up I just prefer the look of the smoked high vis brake lights on the Clio FF especially on silver!
Cheers
Think it was about £130 each for front and £100 each for rears, very happy with them! Just gotta sort the front topmounts now and it will be perfect! Do you find it sorts the understeer on tight bends a bit?
Excellent!! Really nice ride quality, having the damping adjustment is ideal, running stiffer on the back and relatively soft on the front it feels really well balanced! Only just put the whiteline on, I'm on the soft setting at the mo, yet to give it a good drive. How do you find the bar?
There are alot more things to check other than just gas, firstly check the cabin filter, if its clogged you wont be getting the correct volume of air flowing through the evaporator, secondly if the condensor at the front of the car has leaves, birds, deer, rabbit or any other shat clogging it up...
Was just talkin to some mates, may of exaggerated a bit think more like 4000 - 4500 either way still shocking!! Oh yeah I'll defo get the tracking done, have been waiting ages to get it looked at as I have been getting some top mounts made up. 12000 is good on them mate!
100% agree my conering is a bit wild! I blame my roads, they are hideous at the mo and I do 30-40miles a day fairly hard, also the fact im messing around against mates in there EK9s with R888s and amazing suspension setups!! Do you think PE2s would be suitable for the ring?
Fairly consistant, TBH i think the tracking and camber need some attention, its getting done on a mates new 11k setup so have been waiting a while - that said its not miles out!
I heard these wore quickly but HELL!! Wondering if I put Yokohama AD08s on they will wear as quick and if so I will stick to the P Zeros as half the price?
Forever changing them on 1600's rattle on start up and engine light on, only seems to be f4r that rattle constantly on idle - different pulley. Its been happening since before 1998 on the old 2.0l espace and scenics, Renault don't learn by their mistakes!!
Could be tdc sensor which is located on top of the gearbox, held on with two 10mm bolts. You would need to replace the sensor and part of the loom. That said it wouldn't stop the engine from cranking, it could be that you have two common faults. The solonoid wire on the starter motor (front of...
Has anybody done/heard of boring the block out to take larger capacity pistons, I.e from the girly 82.7mm to 86/88mm?
These engines are in my opinion stroked 1800 blocks and there has got to be someone who has experimented?
Have had loads of these apart when doing head jobs etc but never...
Yes mate, I have the Bratton Ring and the Blackmoorgate Ring!!! Me and my mates know it too well, been our 'track' for a long time! (not to say we drive fast - that's just stupid :/ ) where were you based?
Mine needs a good thrashing, only 24k on the clock driven by an 80year old guy never saw above 50mph, when I got it a couple months ago the mpgs said 43... WTF I have never seen more than 30 odd!! Paul at RSTuning said it needs to be loosened up so loosen it up I will!! :)
Afraid not mate, unless you change the UCH, injection computer and keys of the other Clio! You will need to buy a new UCH and program it to your car.
:(
Hear alot about these yozza exhausts, obviously they are shed loads lighter but I think they look tripe! Out rolled exhausts are old school RS fiesta turbo style?
How much is my 182 worth at the mo?
Clio 182 non cup packs, 2004, 23,000 miles, one owner, all belt kits just done, new brakes all around, full Renault history, immaculate inside and out, brand new Koni adjustables, eibach sportlines, camber bolts, brand new pirelli p zero nero asemetrical...
Do you mean the aluminium piece that covers the fuel rail with 3 bolt holes in? If so use a deep 13mm socket, it's only held on with two (not three) and it's the two closet to the airbox side I think. Hope this helps!
Re: Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on??
Sounds like a nightmare mate, another thing to add it's prob worth checking all the mounts - sounds like something is jolting the steering if the engine/gearbox mounts are mis-alighned or loose this could have...
Re: Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on??
Have you considered that maybe the diff is too tight, i.e lash and pre-load? Maybe it wasn't assembled correctly - doubt it tho!!
Also I had the exact same thing on mine and it turned out the n/s/r shock had...
