Car failed MOT yesterday so...
Having stealth system fitted, another cat, rear brakes, rear shock absorbers..
Pick it up monday so hopefully it'll now fly through the retest
So the car went in for an MOT test today, had a feeling it would fail but not this badly
Anyway results are below:
Any ideas on the emissions? stupidly high amd they said that the exhaust being replaced will help but still wont get it within the limits :S Spark plugs? lamda sensors?
Just to add to what Chip has said. If your current filter is old and needs changing then IME a standard panel filter will do just fine on your engine.
Pros of a standard filter:
1. its cheaper
2. less heat soak
3. designed to work well enough on a 1.2
Cons (and there is only 1 really)... it...
Lock tight on the thread of the bolt?
failing that take the clamp right off bend it slighly so its a more 'snug' fit, lock tight the thread and job should be a goodun

@Bobby. Any idea who it was, could of been someone picking it up from your work?
Would there be any point in a clear plastidip on the front end to stop stone chips over wrapping it?
My understanding is that wrapping will take slightly more of a beating than plastidip but again im guessing this depends on amount of coats
I really do prefer it with the splitter, finishes off the front bumper just right. i do need to trim it down a bit still but havent got round to it yet

Yeah i think the ph2 rear bumper will be too much, only just pulls of the ph2 boot hatch imo.
