It is, but I can't belive how closely designed the Samsung S6 is! Misses has the iphone, I have the Samsung. Out of the case they are so similar other then the Samsung having a bigger screen and better camera. I was hoping the 7 might bring something new for me to try Apple again, but not sure...

D5300 is a good choice if you want to go new. The 50mm f1.8g is great but on a crop sensor I would go for the 35mm f1.8g. You can pick up a D7200 for £550 if you dont mind going down the grey route.

Just got myself a Samsung S6 as price dropped since S7 came out - pretty good. Camera is amazing! Came from a Nexus 5 and cant fault the S6 so far.

You should have expected these kinds of comments on a car forum surely?! Post them on talk photography, they have dedicated section for nude and glamour (if you haven't already)

You can get a used 7D for £300, but will be a high shutter count or a 60D. Both bigger and a step up from the 400D

What body are you using?

18-140 VR

I have sold my full frame set up. The D750 is a great camera, but for what I am using it for I have decided that crop is better for me. Sticking with Nikon so have a D7200 on route with the versatile and quite well reviewed 18-140.

If the internet signal is not great you will need to try find a network that is otherwise the dongle will just have the same issue. We used to have a 'Three' PAYG dongle when we first moved in and that worked really well. Seems to last forever too! Think I still have it somewhere if you want...

I use a black rapid, but now considering a peak designs slide. https://www.peakdesign.com/product/straps/slide You can also get a wrist strap that uses the Anchor Links so you can change between the two.

yeah I'm looking at doing the same. Just been looking in some these glass screen protectors too, but due to the curved edges of the screen you got to be careful not to get halos on them. Seems there are only a few decent ones out there!

Due this month so be interesting to see what changes they have made. Does mean you should be able to pick up an S6 cheaper.

The 5X has 2GB of Ram, which is sort of putting me off that one. Then again, according to real life users its not a major drawback.

This is also my choice. What one did you go for? I love my Nexus 5, but want a new refreshed phone!

Was going to buy Samsung S6, but having looked at the 5X I think I'm sold as its just about the biggest size I would want. Also - if you buy at the moment you get £20 Google Play credit and a Chromecast chucked in for free. Anyone know of a nice slim case?
