Look out for the 55-250 STM lens. It's much improved on the older version. Very very sharp for a budget telephoto. If I was using Canon and on a crop sensor, it would be in my bag! Simply awesome for the money!

Hmm... seems its hit and miss as a lot of people have no issues, some have lots. Might strip out some of my apps that are hardly used anyway, and see what happens.

5.0.1 on nexus 5. Been terrible. I did a full reboot from the bootloader menu and it seemed slightly better, but now its laggy (especially when returning to hiome screen from chrome) and apps crash a fair bit for no reason.

Touch wiz is a lot better than it used to be that's for sure. I love my nexus so will try a complete ROM flash and see if it gets better. I do like my friends galaxy S5, which is probably going to drop in price anytime soon. But not sure.

Just looking at guides on how to flash back to stock ROM, so might give that a go and start over rather than just refreshing current ROM.
