This is one of two identical Lunar Grey cars commissioned by Renault UK. Fully spec'd with 'complete id leather in blue'.
One of the four has creme leather, id pack 3, (door trims, steering wheel, gear and hand brake gaitors and seats)
The last one had standard trim for an id colour.
That rear quater and door line is hideous.. Straight into the Vauxhall Tigra type category. Front and rear end look ok.. Girls car for sure.
Please Renault.. No RS version!
Commoner...
LMAO :p
We're agreed on the spoiler though.. it really does spoil it. The leather isnt my first choice, but the cabin is actually a nice place to be with it.
Not so sure it was quite that easy fella. But yes, you could certainly choose your own number from a list of numbers given to the dealer from the then DVLC
Haha.. ;) Noble in defeat..
I used to have a Fiesta Super Sport years ago. Its reg from new, issued at random was MEL 1W. I later sold it to fund some new paint work.. ;)
Sure, it looks like you do now. But is was that always the case?? The 'cherished number plate' market hasnt always been so popular. DVLA took a very long time to catch on to the private plate money machine.
Yes you're right they are being sold similar to that at the moment, but thats not to say some of the reg. no.s like that were't issued as 'regular' numbers from the DVLA in 1995 or when ever 'N' was the pre-fix. Dont you think? Especially as it would appear the plate may have been on from new...
Re: Southend Meet January 22th 2011
If this is THE anniversary meet, I'll be there in the 172 :)
Shouldn't it be the "22nd" ? :p
Looking forward to it!
Hi Dawn.. I cant help but think a bra is going to leave witness marks on your bonnet, visible when you remove it. 'If' you're going to get the front painted anyway, why waste your money on a bra at this stage? You'll be using the chav-mobile in the crap weather any surely?
I think...
Nice work Tombo.. except that hideous twin tail piped exhaust you fitted earlier.. lol Good to see you've taken the OEM/stealth look route again. I have a Yoza stalth on mine which sounds very nice.
Thanks Austin!

Hi Rob,
Any chance you could PM me the details of the people you're using for the refurb please. Are you happy with the work? Any chance of some pics too please bud.? My steering wheel on the 172 is becoming quite unpleasant, and I'd like to get it sorted out.
Thanks, Shaun.
A lovely colour indeed is Moonlight Blue. There was one present at the Clio v6 10year Anniversary meet at Mas du Clos and WSR at Magnes Cors this year. Loved it almost as much as Lunar ;)
Great to know its still out there being enjoyed :)
Haha.. brilliant!
Car looked great!.. I was wondering if it was a Gordini when I first saw it as I dont recall seeing an Albi 200 before. I then realised the lack of 'white' that the Gordini comes with.
Yeah, you're right to be cautious on that corner, and the slight pinch point at the Dora's...
