So.. 2x 2000 plate ph1 172's, 1 of them says Model Type CB0M and the other CB1C
No apparent differences, but there must be somewhere. Anyone got any educated answers or thoughts?
Thanks :)
As Daz has said above.. ph1's were not Cups. One spec only, except for the limited run Exclusive (Met. Green) Cups didnt come out until a 52 plate and so, in the later ph2 172.
Ph1's didnt have xenon lights either, so dont have headlight washers.
They've been on my 172 since before I bought it over 3yrs ago. For normal road use they're fine. Wouldn't recommend for any track action, but for the money and to make the car sit a bit better they just right.
It seems that cheap coil-overs are pound for pound a complete waste of money. So...
I think you'll find this was Sunflower yellow too..
Thought to be the first v6 ever made, after the black prototype. Seen here with Tom Walkinshaw.
Regarding Kathy's Sunflower, I have no idea what so ever what the registration number was. It was, as far as I'm aware, the first sunflower on...
Hahaha... oops. BRAKE not break :p If one of the moderators reads this, please correct my spelling mistake :)
Thanks for your reply!
What of these Pagid brakes I've been offered? Anyone?
Thanks bud, cheers for the heads up re 'g172' too. Will check it out.
My quote for Pagid discs and pads all around is £162.00 (trade, from Euro Car Parts), plus my mates time for firtting. Surely at that price its worth a punt? I just dont want to spend any more than is reasonably required. The...
So, could use some sensible opinions here please you lot. ;)
My ph1 172 sailed through its 3rd MOT under my ownership on Tuesday, so I'm quite delighted with this news! I was convinced it would fail with corroded brakes as its rarely used and just sits on the driveway most of the time... rarely...
Still sounds pretty poor bud... I've not driven an Enzo.. but I'd like to think that if i had, i'd still get more enjoyment out of my vee than 6.5 out of 10 lol
Back on topic though, there are several owners that have re-furbished their wheels in anthracite. Look ok.. but just ok imo. The best...
Couldn't agree more.
If you only rate it 6.5/10 as in one of your other posts, then its probably time to sell it and get something else.. You'll certainly sell it alot easier in standard form.
I was always under the impression it was this ^^
My 182 did it, owned from new.. so I know it hadn't had a replacement windscreen. If your 182 has a 'hump', about 3-400mm long in the centre of the top trim, its highly likely that its had a new windscreen at some point.
Solution to noise? No...
