LOL.. Well it had its cambelt service last summer.. so had to drive it to the garage.. :p
Its SORN until possibly April. RS National meet will be the first outing for 2011 lol. I love driving it! :) Took it to France last year too young'un! :p
Sounds good to me! Although last time I was at the Shire Horse, some mad woman in a Citroen C15 van tried to take out my v6!.. lol I'll be there in the 172 :)
Wednesday is better for me. Thankyou please.
Then you'll never be the owner of it will you.. not for 12k. Unless its bent. lol
Its very much a niche market. Much like the Noble market place, I'm sure prime examples of those will command a premium..
Its all subjective Steve.. and the car will probably not sell anyway lol. To the collector who wants the best example available, he would possibly be prepared to pay a premium for such a low milage, prime example. Such as this would appear to be.
So a 16k reduction in miles as per your 20k...
Surely its worth what ever someone is prepared to pay for it..
With that sort of mileage on it, it 'should' be as new condition. If so, I don't think it un-reasonable for it to be priced as such, certainly to a buyer who wanted one from new, but perhaps wasn't in a position to buy one new 6...
Thanks Fred! Glad you like it :) See you at RS National for a catch up, assuming you'll be there..!
(Guillaume is French for William/s ;) ) Forum name of Williams.? With a v6..? just doesn't sit quite right.. lol
It is a very high price, but it does have very few miles on it.. If someone...
Just airing my views too Dan.. no coffee today.. just having to deal with other folks sh1te all week, and trying to make a silk purse out of a pigs ear.. :)
Lmao... I wouldnt know much about shoddy v6's.. only ever had good ones.. ;) lol
But yes, you're right.. generally that 172 looks very good!! Nice clean lines, even panel joints etc etc... Just come to notice the boot badges are often an indication to having some paint work done. But not always. :p
Calm down Daniel.. jeeez..
Just an observation. You may well be right, on the other hand it may have had some paint work. My comment merely points out that all may not be as it would first appear. Its not as 'factory fresh' or "Totally unmodified and factory standard" as the vendor makes out...
Each car cost Renault in the region of £60 - 70k. At £27k brand new.. I think they offer a great driving experience!
Why would 'you' ever want to buy one if you think they're way over priced..?
Met you last year at Trax you silly sausage.. lol We gate crashed your stand with Bill Patchall and oldskoolbaby's v6's. It was me that asked if we could join you.. ;)
Good to see you two on the way home last night on the M25.. figured you'd been to Southend. I couldn't get there until quite late so missed alot of the goings on. Great effort for coming all that way!! I thought I was traveling a fair distance... but only 25% of what you guys did!! I got bored...
