I have a Haswell MBP retina - when it was running Mavericks OS X everything was smooth, snappy and quick - however, ever since i've updated to Yosemite I find that everything's so laggy, scrolling, the UI, Safari has to constantly be quit and re-opened - it's really ruining the Apple experience...
I was lucky enough today to be offered a trial of a few waxes on the bootlid of the Z4 to help me decide which was to go for. It's had Definitive Wax 'Durus', Definitive Wax 'Ostendo' and Zymol 'Glasur' applied - it'll be interesting to see how they work out :).
Forgotten how easy Hydro2 is to apply and the insane beading it leaves - applied it to my parents car yesterday with great results.
The only downside being the pressure washer lance, for some reason, wasn't 100% locked in place, flew off and put a dent in the bonnet :(
Funny you should mention Soft99 - Sonar BSD has a similarly obsessive following right now!
I'm going to stick to a good old fashioned old school wax - don't even want to use the OC 2.0 i've got left over!
I see De-Ionised water is ok for the final rinse off - but what about RO water? Specifially 4 stage RO with DI pod and 0 total dissolved solids? Just wondering as i've bought one for the new reef tank so can hopefully utilise the water :)
Definitely something 'special' though really no more than £100 - £150 a tub.
So far i'm looking at Zymol Glasur, Swissvax Shield or Definitive Show edition.
Durability isn't an issue, 4 weeks would be acceptable tbh.
Or stick with the 55 for the shed :

Cheers gally.
So maybe for someone with a bit of experience then?
What you say does back up what i've read - it can be difficult to remove - not what I want on a black car.
Back to the research - cheers :)
The more I see it with them on, the more i'm in two minds about them. Plan for next winter, funds allowing, is use the original wheels as winters and go for a set of these as summers :
Well I was expecting far worse feedback than this! Sometimes I think it looks a bit 'Bradford' but sometimes I don't. No more black going on, will leave all the badges etc chrome and the stock BMW logos on.

@ian 182 - Millicent's classy so she probably...
The wheels are temporary as I said - black on black on black is a bit much. On silver wheels it'll look good I hope. If not, only £50 lost, no biggy.
Nearly out of RG55 wax now, tempted to try some Zymol Glasur this time round.
