Managed to clean the CV grease off my Daytona 'speedster' brush so saved a few quid :)
Still too big to get past the dust shield on the front wheels though :(
After using a MicroFibre Madness drying towel I can honestly say I won't try another brand - it puts the CG wooly mammoth and Sonus waffle weave towels to shame.
Check the directions - it should give you an ideal dilution ratio.
An inch or two if snow foam is pretty much what I go for though...
Topped the Opti-Coat with RG55 today as i'm not 100% happy with the water behaviour from OC alone(finished with last touch)
Used the last of the HydrO2 on the wheels - but need to get the wheels refurbed and coated with Dlux.
Also my Wheel woolies are a bit useless on the Z4 - can only use...
I've got the Kirkland ones for general use such as engine bay / shuts etc - just after some better quality / slightly deeper pile ones for the bodywork.
Have to say that even when dirty, the Opti-Coat beads and sheets amazingly!
AutoSmart 'Ultramousse' for me - very good 'cling' and consistency at a good price point.
What MFs are you guys using for final wipe down of your cars? I've ordered some Sonus 'Der Wunder' MFs but tempted to try some CarPro 'BOA' towels too?
Decided to clean the engine bay too :

So were the stock ones - they've since been adjusted a touch further out so can't see the inner section as easily.
Weighted aluminium gearknob ordered.
Replaced the OE exhaust tips :

Cheers all.
Cheers Gally - the only durability test will be water etching vulnerability, sheeting, beading and how it lasts over time in all honesty.
The BSD will purely be to add extra protection once a month.
Yeah i'm up for that :)
So, decided to rain last night - cue the inevitable beading shots :

Finally finished the car tonight (started it on Sunday!) - the high temps this week meaning I was working on it early morning and late evening.
Wearing a coat of Opti-Coat 2.0, which will be followed by RaceGlaze 55 and Sonax BSD next week.

Finally finished refining the paint ready for the OptiCoat - and it's raining tomorrow meaning I can't apply it tonight (after all this hot weather we've had!).
Typical!
