Yeah, but Joe said it cuts in at around 1200rpm? Surely its only for a smooth idle. To gain a little torque you need it to cut in higher than that. I was only quoting Dave Walker on the tech side, but the theory on the 1/4 mile times would make sense if the article is correct.
