First attempts at detailing (LY 182 content)

Thanks for all the comments and words of wisdom guys, really appreciated. Will look into getting some tardis and other polish/glazes. I had a feeling I'd done the Iron-X/Claying the wrong way round, when I think what the products do that should be pretty obvious 2bh!!! I just used a sponge

First attempts at detailing (LY 182 content)

Next to tackle was the wheels. They are trophy turini's, originally from No. 007. They do need a refurb ideally, but I thought I'd see what I could do with them. Valet Pro Bilberry was used (4:1), along with the silverline wheel/alloy brush (cheapskate I know, I didn't buy the EZ detail)...

Hello detailing people. As my van snapped a gear linkage bracket yesterday, I was 'working from home' today... so it was time to clean the Clio. Disclaimer - I'm quite new to this, so if anything the wrong way round/incorrect please do let me know :) All criticism taken as constructive (except...

Is it worth tidying up a car before you sell it?

You know the spline the wiper goes on? Well that's worn so there's some play in it. I've asked Chips Away to have a look at it just to see if I'm talking £100 or £600 to fix it, no idea how much they charge. Yeah course I will mate :-)

Is it worth tidying up a car before you sell it?

Thinking of getting rid of the 182 this year for an R26 and there's a few bits on the car I've always meant to get round to tidying up. The question is, would you bother? Can't decide whether I'd be better off paying out a few quid to get them put right in the hope of getting more for it or...
