When this happened to mine it was the actual blower motor, but lots of the time it's resistor pack as said above. Photo in this thread of where it is.

I'm 22 and work full time as a sales pleb mate. I do have a work van so there's no work mileage and most 'pop to the shop' trips can be done in the transit during the day. Comission helps too...
