I am having a meg pulley fitted when the work is done, just so people are aware the charger was installed by myself and the cam belt was not touched, will have to see what happens.
Thanks for your input Dan, maybe I should phone Renault lol.
This happened when the car was doing the finale power runs after being mapped.
Just to clear this up TDF/Track group did the cam belt change last, so if they decide to help me out than that is great but if they don't then I will just have to pay for it my self. Like I say just posted this...
All I know is what I have been told and that I am looking at a huge bill to fix the car. Don;t want loads of messing about just want my car fixed. I asked the company to fix the car thinking it was just one of those things, and they have now told me why it happened. I am in a crap situation...
A bit hard to edit it now mate, was just after some advice that was all, I will post who done the work once I now what they are going to about it, which I think is fair. The work was carried out on the 30/11/2011 and like I have said nothing to do with Ktec.
Not Ktec mate, had dephaser and belt change after the cams were fitted, will reveal the company responsible if they don't sort something out, they are a well respected Renault specialist though.
I don't think you should mate assumptions either mate, very unfair.
This happened last week, the car was at another specialist when this happened and I have only just been told what the cause was after I had asked them to find out what had happened. I would not be happy for the company had done the cam belt to work on the car again, and the work will be carried...
Just wanting peoples opinion on where I stand on this, I have been told the cam belt has failed due to the tensioner not being done up to the correct torque by the company who done the last belt change, this has resulted in the car needing a new head.
I am waiting for the company who done the...

Spoke to Andy at Ktec last week about changing the pulley size and he said you can't.
Having a meg pulley fitted to mine at the moment, thought I wouldn't need one due to only being low boost but my car made a lot of torque so had to have one to prevent belt slip.
When are you hoping to have...
Won't be putting my car on the dyno now, but will still be there.

I don't think you can change the pulley size when using the supercharger on a f4r.
I fitted the supercharger kit to mine last week so if you have any questions on fitting the kit just pm me and I should be able to help.
Are you fitting a meg key way pulley?
I have just changed my alternator from a cup set up back to a 182 set up due to fitting a supercharger, I have a wire from the alternator loom but can't see where to put it, it is the copper wire covered with a black sheath. It may have the wrong connector on the end as my cup set up was a...
Yes mate, it has finally arrived, been waiting nearly a month.
Hope to fit it this weekend and then off for mapping next week, will update the power figure when its done and I have a better idea of what it might make on Rindys rollers.:)
