I'm still learning things in my 1.2 and i've been driving almost 2 years now (just turned 19) wouldn't buy a 172 yet even if i could afford it. Done loads of quotes for 1*2's before and your going to be looking at 3-4k easily even on your dads' i expect? Best of luck when you do get it though.

get about 32 in mine :quiet: that is having quite a bit of fun though, get about 38-40 probably more driving normally.

Happened on mine and it turned out to be the lamda (sp) sensor, does it judder then just die or is your mpg lower?

Lambda sensor? mine screwed up and i got about 25-26 in a 1.2

Fully comp around 1400-1700 bearing in mind i had no mods so check around because alot of companies are different. Lowering for me was about 150 i think? Not sure on the others? :)

It does lower by 50mm on non sports had mine a couple of months nowand i love em definately worth it :race:

We had friends in Canada that had a pickup on just over 1 million! had only had the services done and a few things changed on about 700,000! :quiet:

Well i drove down to another garage yesterday and guess what... no fuel problem:nono: erased the memory of the fault, the light has gone out and i need to book it in if i have any problems to get it fixed, on warranty, for free!! Now why the f**k did SMC tell me all that other shite well pissed...
