Ok thanks....Did you have the emissions light on aswell Da? I've bought a new cat and map sensor now so hopefully one of them will fix it. I've had the emissions light on and off all through winter which I thought was the norm....so it's probably un related.

Managed to get a new cat now...hopefully that's the problem. I've just been put to try the car again ..starts fine from cold and then once it's Been running for say 2 mins it starts to struggle and trys to cut out...also stinks of gas in the car.

hmmm ...Ive even got the old cambelt here he took off. Cant see that hes done the aux belt then.....it goes in for a service soon though so ill get it changed if not. Edit: Just checked again it was £195 for the cambelt kit supplied and fitted.

Ill have to give them a call and ask...Ive just checked the receipt and it says cambelt kit...So its probably has been done. Whats making me think not is i only paid £175.
