Cheers lads. I'm really enjoying it. Reminds me of my old 130i, such an effortless cruiser. Next job is to remove the CDV then may think about a suspension refresh.
Got the 330 back from the body shop after a front/rear bumper and boot lid respray. I was going to clean them both but got bored after cleaning the clio. I will do a separate thread eventually for the beemer, but basic info for now; 49,000 miles, FULL spec, electric sunroof, electric heated...
182 was behind me in mine through Botley. The 172 pulled alongside me in the 330ci at Fareham central roundabout... then cut in front to get to the Tesco entrance, naughty :rasp:
I did read a few bad reports also, but then others have had them years without any probs - it's a bit of a gamble but it really has freshened up the rear of the car.
I don't have any close up pics of the wheels i'm afraid. They are an excellent finish though. The Wheel Specialist are a little...
Wow, very similar to us in terms of car and plans! Ours has exact same spec, pre-facelift in black with the MV I alloys. We had the wheels refurbed at the Wheel Specialist last week. I’ve opted to do the paint correction myself (just ordered a machine polisher) and have contacted a few dent...
Thanks mate.
Hmm, I think it may be an additional job for the body shop then. It is just on the bumper, so a respray shouldn’t (*touches wood) be too expensive.
I went for the CYC EP801 rotary (with the Menzerna bundle...
Bought a 330ci a fortnight ago. It's a pre-facelift which i really wanted (they look more aggressive than the facelift imo), low mileage at only 58,000 and has full spec - i think literally everything available, xenons, heated memory leather, nav, electric sunroof etc etc. However, the paintwork...
Dodgy? That's my finest smart casual i'll have you know!
Ha, car is covered in flies at the minute. Titchfield seems to be swarming with them. What were you in? Not the badly parked one (Astra?) in front of the store? ;)
Cooksport springs, Cup Turini's, 20mm front/15mm rear spacers, 205 tyres. I do get slight scrubbing at the front when cornering hard yes. It isn't too bad. It's actually much worse at the rear when I have people in the back. Fortunately i don't have people in the rear very often (i'm not a taxi...
Wow, how crap is the Note II's camera. I cleaned my car for the first time since Oct/Nov today. It has been washed in-between, but I'm not sure on the wisdom of letting the £5 a time Romanians loose on it :o
After a good clean I can really see what needs doing. There are a couple of small chips...
