I have to agree with quite a few of the comments. My wife has had one for a few months its in silver and is totally standard apart from a set of Eibachs on it. The car has a way of getting under your skin. The seats are incredibly comfy and the fit and finish is just great. Its a lovely place to...
This was one of my little brothers MK2's.
My wife had this for a wee bit.
I have had a few MK2's. This was one of my favorites.
Also had an Audi S2.
Then had one of my all time favorite cars. An Audi RS2.
Thoroughly enjoyed your other thread so looking forward to this one as well. I am thinking of going down the same induction route. Could you let me know the exact measurements for the 90 degree elbows, joiner and the filter so I make sure I get the correct parts. Thanks
Lovely places which are so close to my heart. I frequently headed across to Fort William and Skye and loved every minute of it. The roads are great as long as there is not a long line of tourists but your photos are incredible. When you visit Elgol it is such an incredible sight. We have a road...
Absolutely love these things. Don't know how many times I have watched that Top Gear episode where they pitched it against the E63 AMG on the runway.
I looked into these a few years back when I was compiling my dream car and this seemed to cover all basis. I remember reading somewhere that the...
I got round to taking out the seat spacers after reading your thread Dan but a quick question.
Does your seat still slide? Both mine slide but with loads of effort I guess this is just because they are now catching on the carpet.
Did you place any washers/rubber grommets as from underneath I...
Have you taken off your inner wheel arches on the front? I had a similar problem and I thought it was coming from the bulkhead. I pulled off the inner arches and the amount of mud was incredible. I think it was almost creating a dam and the water was then going under the door seal. Worth a look...
Noticed a small amount of water and more condensation than normal in the passenger footwell. Done loads of searches on here and the scuttle drain holes seem like a good place to start but it would be nice if the rain let up.
On inspecting the door seals I have noticed that they are not in the...
I used to live in Laurencekirk just south of Stonehaven and we would often nip across to Aviemore or head across to Fort William that way. It really is a superb road with not a lot of traffic but very well sighted so easy to overtake.
Must have been fun in the M3. I did it in one of my old cars...
Love this little car. Makes me want to get some wind deflectors and a new set of wheels on mine.
Not sure you should put a picture of you disposing of a body on here.
Well looks like some good came out of it. I mentioned it to my wife who was not happy with it so she contacted the courier and they said that as a goodwill gesture they will refund the transport costs so at least I can put it towards a new bonnet. Thanks for the advice on the ECP bonnets I do...
If anyone has a Black Gold bonnet in excellent condition I will happily take it off your hands. Back to square one. I wish I didn't like having a spotless car like I have some form of OCD then I wouldn't care.
Yeah I read all the terms and conditions and I thought the same but when I checked on the packaging they must use other courier companies and they have used TNT. It looks like going down the respray route would have been the better options but I didn't want to have to get the wings blended in to...
No it was me that sorted the courier but I didn't think I would need the insurance for it as I have never had trouble with them in the past.

Sadly no. It has two large dents that someone has tried to repair near the drivers wiper then the usual place where someone has decided to close the bonnet with their hand. There are loads of stonechips across it as well.
It was all looking so good and the dent was the last bit wrapped in bubble wrap. My other thought was to get a pair of long nosed pliers and trim some pipe to fit over the long nose end then try and bend it back as best I can then touch it up and see how it looks. I suppose a bonnet bra although...
After owning my car for 8 months now I have been searching for a bonnet in black gold only to find someone has already purchased it. I managed to track one down and I purchased it and sorted my own courier. I used Paisley Freight as I have used them in the past for a few car parts without any...
Love seeing the differences you have made in the year. Looks so much better. The arch gap was crazy when you first got it.
Once all the gearbox problems are over and the MOT is passed a nice set of seats would finish it off. I love it.
Just checking to see if every other Clio 182 with air con is the same.
When I press the button to lower the temperature it counts down but when it gets to the coldest the screen no longer says 16 but goes blank on the left hand side. The same when you go to the highest temperature.
Is this...
Is it possible to purchase new door pins? The drivers door has slight movement in it and it is causing the door to have a click. I thought it was the check strap but this has been replaced and I still have the clicking sound.
They are such great cars. I had a Carbon Black one a few years back with Kiwi leather and it was amazing. I loved the way it drove, sounded and the look of the thing. They seem to cover so many bases with not bad fuel consumption, enough room in the car for passengers and a reasonable boot...
That is the problem I have now. We have a MaxiCosi that is Isofix but we borrowed a Britax to see how it was and I can see him flying about in the back which I don't feel safe about. I don't even go fast when the wee guy is in the car.
Just wondering what car seats you have for the wee ones in your life. My little guy is 3 and a half and coming up to the stage where we are changing the one he has had for a while. Have been looking at these ones...

Pretty impressive that jump. I love mountain biking but don't think I would have the bottle to do that kind of jump. The back tyre is taking a bit of pounding.
