If he has told you the car is in working order then you can take him through small claims and get your money back. He has to give you a list of faults with the car i believe. I think anyway. Look into it.

Was it you that done the conversion on the clio or was it a previous owner? A boy from my area has a white 106GTI with GSXR bodies, cant remember off the top of my head but i think its around 160/165bhp? would be good fun but the GTI i owned before has put me off buying one again!

How much is the wax plus postage? I think i remember it being about 25/30 quid? Considering you can get other waxes for around that/a little more that would last alot longer than 4 coats i dont think its actually that good. Obviously if the 99 does actually last 12 months then it might be good...
