i've got a selection of excuses made for my poor showing if you'd care to hear a couple:
your car is more stripped,
i wasnt trying,
after 80 i would have pulled away,
want anymore ;)
was a good day. need a passenger so we can get some proper videos and drive bys as it was mental when you...
met up with dave yesterday and made a trip down to birchdown seeing as i've just had the 172 decatted and its sounding epic, and daves 1.6 is running well.
tbh theres very little in it when gunning it on some dual carrigeways, but decent vids will follow when i arrange a cameraman...
unless i'm stationary not much chance of me hearing ouwt inside the car due to the combination of decat and tunes lol.
i really need to be more observant :o
dipped beam = HB3 fitment.
main = H7
i went with phillips bluevision for both as i got them at a good price, however when they blow i think i'll be swapping for hids as they've dropped like a stone in price recently.
decatted my yozza on the 172 and best decision ive made in a long time. no drone whilst driving at a steady speed, and when giving it the beans is just pure rasp.
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
i've had some right problems with JP recently over booking my car in as its a 172, but they are the nuts when it comes to quality.
i'd go for a 3'' straight cut tailpipe
well kicked the car up this morning for the first time since saturday afternoon. missing two notches of petrol, and dad was looking rather guilty so i assume i have found the culprit.
wow didnt realise this had been bumped up :o
to stick the mirror caps on i used 'evo stik - nail and seal' which is a waterproof no nails product u can get from B&Q and the like. Stuck them on, and then secured in place with masking tape and they've been fine so far.
modify your original ones would be my suggestion. last time i was in gsf they had a replacement one which was cheaper, but no idea on the quality of it.
