Ive been tempted by a 200 several times, new car appeal, but id never sell my 172ph2(none cup) at the moment, the 200 is all well and good but if your a person who likes to "mod" cars like me....i couldnt leave it alone, thus costing a bomb for the new parts and upgrades. Plus! i wouldnt want to...
Yep chromed, we can do something "similar" but they will be painted in chrome effect paint + dull coated. We dont generally touch bullets if the chrome coating is bubbling / flaking mind you.
My mrs's 1.2 16v clio had a front arch liner missing, and needed a wing respray, previous owner had a knock in it. Anyway so i took of the wing to repsray.....tons and tons of crud stuck to behind wing and back of door, was wetting all the lighting electrics as the wires had gone brittle, thus...
It depends on what type of car modifier you are, i myself am performance over looks, but if your going for "the low's" and not bothered about handling or tracking etc, then why not.....
I cant see how they could be much worse than tired 172 suspension, if set at the right ride height and not...
ill eat my chuff if its anti clockwise, unless im going mad its clockwise, always, but depends which side your on if its towards or away from the front of the car.
Even if its damaged the paint, unless its hideous (doesnt sound it, if you have to look for it) you should be able to "correct it" as gally said. Mind you you'll need a hasher compound, try on an area which isnt too obvious first with something harsher.
Just done my rears, used a wind back tool with the carrier off (2 bolts, remember to thread lock for peice of mind afterwards)......much easier. Failing that, big flat headed screw driver on the slots and tap it with a hammer, be careful not to mash up the slots mind you, but its works. (Its...
So im replacing my rear lines to braided ones......3 nuts out no problem, now it looks like someones killed the 4th one and its rounded off to hell. Basically i need a new passenger side line, Renault want £49+VAT for the un-bent hard line with flex pipe......but i dont really want to bend this...
Best mod is shedding weight, after that handling, braking........my clio's under a ton now (stripped out, even carpets, nothing for show), best mod i ever did, miles quicker than a standard clio.
So ive finally been able to do some work on my own car, spent a few hours refurbing my rear calipers as they looked so rusty and nasty compared to the fronts. Might be useful to someone, so heres what i did for a lasting finish, good for ~150c+, which will be fine for the rears. Pretty pleased...
2.0 litre ones are plated a thin metal mate over the plastic, you'll need a metal etch primer first, then a normal primer once its 100% dry. Make sure you degrease them very well, esp round the letters. We sand blast them with a very very light grit here, as they are an utter pig to sand and get...
