Mine is black. Yes I'm planning to get the twin exhaust too. I was planning on giving the insurance company the bumper to fit, but if the wings and everything needs need to be fitted at the same time, probably best if I do it myself.
I found the full set for about 200, different colour. Found...
I'm making my DCI into a bit of the rep of the 182. Unfortunately, I had a minor collision a few days ago and my front bumper needs replacing, and I thought this would be a good opportunity to get it replaced for a 182 one.
I suspect the 182 fits the DCI variant (front and back bumpers), but...
I see. I have come across from posts around the web about doing something about levelling the lights? Would be cabin adjustment have any effect on the new headlights - would they be compatible?
Hi all,
I've got myself a set of 182 Sport xenons with ballasts and ignitors included, I haven't actually seen the product as I got it shipped to another address. Question is, are these basically plug and play after removing my old headlights, or so I need any other kit to make them legal/work...
I bought my car about 6 months ago (see username) with no details of any cambelt change. I suspect it had already been done for its 80K or so miles as it was an ex-fleet car. I feel that I should go ahead and do a belt change on the car, just to be on the safe side as you don't really know...
I always thought there might be problems with full locking as they're bigger wheels?
Golly, I do like the darker colour, but the kerb marks really do show :O
Lol,
Well the listing I'm looking at saying they have 'cups' (what ever they are in alloys). Does that mean I can't go for the 195 width? Do the 205 have better handling?
Somehow I have managed to damage one of my front driver side alloys. So I need to replace them. I'm looking to replacement with a darker variation of the 182 alloys. As I'll be mostly likely getting them without the tyres, what's the best size tyres to get with the alloys that are compatible...
Update: Radiator has been replaced, but the car is still loosing fluid. Could there be a leak in one of the pipes? It looks like this is going to turn into an exploration job!
I'm having a problem installing this kit. I've got all I need, but for the past day I've been trying to look for an existing accessible hole through the firewall. It's driving me mad!
Can someone give me some guidance on passing the wire from the battery through to the dashboard?
thanks
I was recently getting my rod ends changed. When the car went on the ramp I noticed this patch of fluid, which I assumed was some kind of oil. I'm not sure if anything is leaking. See images.
It's standard suspension. But having said that, I have scraped the bumper a few times which leads me to think it might be either factory low, or naturally low-ish. No intention to lower it.
Here's a listing for them...
Got it. So using the stereo live would be the same as taking it directly from the battery as the stereo is a permanent live wire? I wanted to know if it was safe wiring it directly to the battery and putting a fuse in-line.
So I can fit 195/50/15 on these current alloys? And I'm assuming they'll be no difference in turning circle etc.
Are these 172 alloys? I'd like these really.
Yes please, I haven't wired one of these before, and if it'd help my situation I'm interested.
That's what I had in mind, a cable running from the battery to dash with an inline fuse.
BTW, are there any passageways from the battery through to the dash that are already in place to make this job...
Yes, it's supposed to be live permanently, I don't want the current to stop when the car turns off.
But running a cable directly from the battery to the cabin sounds like a mission. I don't really want to start taking my dashboard apart!
I was thinking of getting a direct power supply from the battery, and using an inline fuse with that connected to the main converter.
I've never fitted a relay before :/
Also found this for similar price, seems like its a correct fit:

I had a look today, and there is a tunnel, albeit not a very big one, but there's one there. I just need to take some measurements of it and see if this thing can comfortable fit. There is a way to adjust the height of the arm rest itself for varying tunnel sizes.
