Ordered some 10mm spacers that come with longer bolts from Rally Design earlier this week... arrived yesturday now fitted, 5mm vs 10mm -

got a heatermatrix this week, it arrived yesturday so thought id fit it today whilst it wasnt raining for once...
only took 15mins to change, when i re-bled it all i removed the hose that links back from the matrix into the lower rad hose off the waterpump until it was flowing out of the hose...
lovin the brakes atm, such a massive difference with the mondeo servo and mc, in the dry it stops on the spot, when its wet it locks up very easy!
also booked it in for mapping at RS Tuning next saturday now i've had the timing done with a DTI gauge.
geting there! heard nothing but good things about the LUK clutches kinda wish i got one instead of spending 5times as much for my Helix lol

sound dont really have any problems with it *touches wood* just the breathing on track still, ermm... brake lines and rear drums, think thats it lol.
Been upto a mates time my cams up with a DTI Gauge...
they wernt far out at all, inlet was 2.5degrees out exhaust was 4 degrees...
had the bar/fork extended on the back of the servo yesturday, all fitted up and brakes bled now and what a difference, press the peddle and boom, happy days!
also gave it a service after its had a hard years abuse changed the oil & filter and spark plugs!
swapped my servo and mastercylinder today... old one removed -
new one fitted after altering and re-drilling the mounting bracket for the bottom 2 threads on the back of the servo and spacing the top 2 threads so the reservoir sits level, and bend the brake linesto suit the new positions -...
made 180bhp with standard timing, advanced the inlet cam slightly and came away with 187bhp @ 6800rpm and 148lbs ft...
he said he couldve stretched 190bhp but didnt want to be to blame if anything went wrong i.e valves bending... so need the cams timing up with a DTI gauge to get the max out of...
decided to throw the cams in, this is how it is atm until my locking pin arrives so i can do the timing spot on, atm it turns over by hand great but not gonna start it till i know the timing spot on standard
also managed toi get my R888s swapped over as ive sold the pepperpots now
new servo and mastercylinder from a mondeo -
going to be fitting it tomorrow if it doesnt rain too much.
also new front wheel bearing -
will fit that when i get time.
and these arrived today only 20hours after paying for the direct from David Newman yesturday-

one polybushed adjustable panhard rod -
and fitted -
before with the old solid panhard rod the rear was over to the nearside by 4mm, so fitted this up then centralised it by lining a spirit level from the wheel arch to the floor then measuring to the centre cap of each wheel so now its bob...
new track wheels in a rare set of RS7s -
obviously not going to be using the centre caps when on track fitted to try one out see what its like -
just need to get the tyres swapped over now!
Polybushed Adjustable Panhard Rod should be here tomorrow along with the cold air feed ducting :)
haha i think they look great in any colour, i wanted either a tasmin blue one or a mercury grey one so had to get this!
