So, still waiting on the brake discs and new wheels that are at the powdercoaters, the track wheels i've got aren't getting powdercoated though they're not too bad plus for track i'm not that bothered about the finish anyways. I've gone for the common Cavalier Cesaros as they look decent, good...
The nova's feeling the love haha, some interesting stories, can't beat old cars! even just driving around in it it feels like its got bags of character compared to my DC2!
Not really a fan of them Speedlines as they're just abit chavvy and common on Novas i think, they do suit them tho i...

been a mega car for me, but now the trackdays in this have come to an end so thought i'd do a mini compilation edit of probably my favourite 3 trackdays out of the (i think) 14 i've done in this..
Highlights from Croft and Snetterton with a quick lap of Cadwell Park inbetween -
Fantastic day at Croft on Monday, was our first time there all of us wern't expecting it to be as fun as what it was with being so flat but at the end of the day we were praising it by saying its just like a flat Cadwell Park aha, definitely gong to be returning there!

So after doing loads of thinking of how I'm going to be able to get a duct/shroud to fit my bumper with not wanting a big duct on the outside of the bumper as they look gash and too 'in yer face', I measured the inside of the bumper and looked on ebay and every motorsport site at all the ducts...
Had a misfire just before the Cadwell trackday, this was the problem, the Rotor arm screw had wound itself out, that's the screw you can see on the left wedged in the dust cover aha -

So, Oulton Park last saturday, nothing to report really other than when having my alignment done the previous week I noticed both rear bleed nipples were passing ever so slightly so I nipped them up as much as I dared, and now i've picked up some new genuines (exactly like I had to do with the...

Pics from donny -
CV boot changed, brakes rebled (still not amazing), alignment on Tuesday, roll on Oulton on Saturday!
Beginning..? What d'ya mean exactly? Aha
The first hour of the day was damp but dried out quite quickly! Kerbs were damp still afterwards as I found out haha
So, Donnington Park on Monday was ace, the day was overbooked by a good 10-15 cars but the track is epic so fast and flowing with an average lap speed of ~90mph!
The car was awesome once again, the brakes don't feel any different to the DS2500s and blank discs which is a slight disappointment...
Cheers guys!
Had an oil leak on the crankcase breather, was going everywhere so decided not to put it off any longer and sort it, turned out to be the O-Ring where it slots into the block so nipped to B&Q and got an assortment of them and fitted the best one -

Dan made me a beaut of a manifold a while back when he started on xr2s aha, glad your staying NA with this!
You'll have to put this through its paces with us all at oulton in November!
Before taking it to get aligned I thought I'd polybush the lower control arms, went for Superpro bushes. Burnt the rubber and cut out the races, then after some advice I softened up the bush in boiling water and made my own little press with a bolt and washers and wallah 4 bushes done -
I've...

Fitted and camber maxed out at I think around -3 degrees, will...
Had a problem with the top rad hose bulging at Anglesey so I changed the hose and the stat for a rather expensive mishimoto 60degree item -
so the bulgeness has gone but now because of the massive radiator and such a low temp stat when driving it literally mustn't get much hotter than low 60s...
Loves to rev indeed!
