Ahh right ! That's fair enough , I thought it would have been , but as long as it can be mapped out I'm quite happy ! :) no harm in putting a cable tie around the MAP won't do any harm at all
Right thanks ! Seams a crazy one that , but hard to argue with 18 pages of results maybe this combined with the RS tuning map is a positive start to rectifying this issue !
I'm really pulled towards them, I think they are smart looking cars and apparently a good chassis too! Admittedly it may...
Fantastic that's exactly what I wanted to hear :) looks like I'll be taking a trip down your way if it's purchased :) from a mechanics point if view I couldn't see why it was impossible !
Is is it the back pressure that's highlights the flat spot or just like the 182s cold map bad fueling ?
See MPG isn't a massive issue, as said I think the 182 over estimates sometimes , and I never bought my 182 with the hopes that it'll do 40mpg all day long !
Same me goes for the 197 I aren't expecting it to be awesome on fuel!
Ive heard about bout the revised boxes , what are they like to...
Hahaha I did think about just keeping my 182 , but the heavy clutch is REALLY starting to grate on me , and the car is now on 102k, and don't get me wrong it feels a strong engine, but I don't think there will be much benefit from any ITBS
Well I've decided in the near future to let the 182 go and start looking for a 197 !
Theres a few things pulling me towards a newer clio sport , mostly how much I love the way they drive a smile factor !
Now I've spent a while getting my 182 right , it drives lovely , and I don't want to...
Dont know if anybody can tell you the business aspect but from my limited knowledge surely if you asked and agreed a price it should be on there regardless of if they think you need it or not !
see what they say they maybe be able rectify ! If they get awkward drop them like a hot potato lol...
Could be a number of things a broken gear box could cause a noise on idle if something's catch but obviously the engine with no oil in could too! I'd be getting photos , failing that if your not mechanical take it to a specialist ( have it recovered )
ps hopefully the alternator is still okay...
If they don't offer to put business use on could you not cancel it under the 14 day cooling off period ? Annoying I know but if you requested it on the phone and they agreed , they should have put it on the policy :/
That sounds very ominous ! Nothing should be dropping oil , so it's either going to be engine oil or gearbox oil , get a light take some photos , do not start it again!
If it's engine oil it will do damage if you run it ! Could have damaged the sump ? Or possible damaged the gearbox !
Mine does between 220-280 on a full tank depends on traffic etc , so half a tank is about 110 so yeah looks fine to me, I mostly drive at about 30 mph all town driving !
I got my 182 from auction mate ! Needed work but price reflected that ! Full service history as well!
Always a risk buying but sometimes worth it !
Have a a look at my build thread
<<
Worth a try but they will only replace it with a pattern part ! So will be s**t fit and will most likely rot again in two years , my 182 exhaust did it went stainless never looked back lol
Main Reason I find for breaking is at the moment they are worth nothing ! And when people mod them they put more money into a car worth not a lot , then when it's time to sell , they won't get money back so they break it up!
Theres still ill quite a few about but at the moment they are getting...
Well I won't lie it's been a while since I've updated , not much has been going on with the Clio apart from driving it ! Lol
I found a set of braided brake hoses the other day for sale , the lads makes then himself, his work looks half decent and a few people have said they have them fitted and...
Heavy as hell! I had a mk4 golf as well as my 182 , swapped to drive my golf home came to a junction and nearly snapped the clutch pedal in half because I was use to driving the Clio lol
Mine can get annoying in traffic , but I like it day to day , i find it a positive feel
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
I saw this on Facebook, ended up doing a detour on the way home after being passed by a silver sport lol must have followed him 10-15mins before I got the reg and noticed it was different !
Lol apologises to anyone on here I followed lol
eyes are peeled in stoke...
Wont get far without a alternator either dude !
Most cars are aux belt driven waterpumps
Lucky as hell it didn't take the Cambelt with it, I'd check see if it'll spin by hand if your not car clue'd up take it to a garage , you've already been lucky as fook once ! Lol
