This 5K 'kick' is defiantly less noticeable when they have been mapped as they produce better power/ torque through the rev ranger rather than a large portion at once , admittedly there's not much gains at all from a map on a standard car other than driveabilty ! The Fastchip RS tuner 98ron...

Main differences are end pipe size and either slash cut like mine or straight cut , like the ultra or yozza ! Not out quite sure why anybody would do away with the exhaust and put a 172 bumper on though, may aswell just buy a 172 instead ? Lol

Ps If there was a inlet leak it wouldn't idle correctly and would rev up and down or to a constant 2-3k ! It won't be that ! Whistle / whine will most likely be belt related , either Cambelt or aux belt imo

As long as it's a 172 manifold should go on just fine, I'd recommend a replacement gasket regardless !
