Well The Aygo went to plan , so I made a start on the 182 :)
Im very impressed with the build quality of the braided hoses , and having never had them fitted to a car before was keen to see/feel the benefits :)
To my amazement everything went fairly well, no rounded brake pipes, no stupidly...
Well hopefully tomorrow we be a nice a productive day, got a Set of Discs and Pads to do on a Toyota Aygo in the morning then all being well , I'm going to try and fit the Braided Brake lines I've had sitting about , got all the tools and some fluid so see how it goes :)
I won't lie to you mate , no , but not for a bad reason on a simple basis , I didn't know you did modified cars :/ lol epic fail on my behalf , it I shall remember you for next year lol
Just subscribed bed mate I'll have a good read through that :) !
It depends who your with , mods are a sore subject but if you get the right people it's no issues , I added a few things on this time and it's still come down £200
plus its it's a huge risk running it without saying , most...
Did mine today , really happy in the end managed to get it sorted !
Im 23 and coming up to having 3 years no claims at renewal !
All mods declared of course , greenlight managed £640 which was good , HIC managed £590 with key car added so when my car locks itself with this stupid alarm they...
Haha I've got some sandpaper ready attack mine in all grades just having time atm, the 3m kit was good but just didn't get them mint , as for the thread mate try go into the projects and new post at the top, if not PM a admin they may help ! :D
Today I had that dreaded message , insurance...
I'd seriously search for another , there are cheaper examples that are better , and even in a private sale you'd get pretty much the same warranty you get of them lol !
Seams ma to me mate you stuck up on the number of the car , personally , it's nothing special !
Buy cars on condition mate...
It's not mint when I went to see it anyway , body works at best average , has aftermarket exhaust , hasn't had any refurb to suspension after asking the dealer they replied its normal suspension, like a cup! Lol, service history wasn't complete as they told me they couldn't even find it ! Lol...
Well they did a good job :) apart from leaving the stickers on the tyres everything seams good ! Doesn't look like any damage and they seam nice a grippy :) !
Now on to packing for New York ! :) more in the new year !
Just sitting in Formula 1 about to have the tyres fitted , I didn't bother doing them my self , as our machine is useless , and they charge £9 a wheel , and if they scratch them it's there problem lol ! Reports after :)
After much debating new tyres have been ordered and delivered , they go on Saturday afternoon :)
Went for hankook Ventus Evo V12s
a lot of people have recomened them to me so going to see what are like :)
I'd imagine it's the same window as any normal 3door Clio ? Scrap yard with tools take the door card off undo regulator and support the window , remove glass ? Guessing anyway!
Have you reset the trip? Sitting still in traffic will drop the average MPG down ! If your really concerned get it looked at! Could be a few things coolant temp or lambda but normally being up a light etc
i have the same system dude it's still quite raspy but did get quieter with driving ! A mile is a bit weird though ... Normally takes longer than that !
Let me rephrase it's then , it's not an investment it's offsetting the of the cost !
It was just a suggestion on how I did it and I didn't feel the cost as much ! There's some right Heroes on here recently isn't there ?
I bought a old wheel for £30
Refurb cost £100 as I took it myself
overall cost was £130
sold my old for £50
so refurbished wheel cost me £80 , sure there's plenty of people who will buy a snappy refurbished wheel for £80 + if they will pay £50 for a worn one !
Well my logic anyway
Ahh sorry missed that bit , no unless it has the switches on the steering wheel as you can see on that wheel , if it doesn't have the switches , it doesn't have cruise control !
Late phase 2 172s had it but most didn't !
Yeah mate you use your old airbag , very easy push a screw driver in the holes to pop the airbag clips over , remove the airbag module ( technically you should disconnect the battery but people don't really they just unplug them)
unplug the cruise control switches , and undo the Torx 50 iirc...
