Great car, will certainly like to own one at some point, never owned a Ford. Wish I could stay in place for longer than 12 months so I can buy a car like this.
Thanks.
Completely differently car as you know. S3 was the best out of the them all, but it was twice the price of the R32. The ED30 was in-between price wise but had all the bad bits adjusted (New suspension, R32 brakes and a Remap) so is hard to directly compare. I know you didn't get on with...
Lol, funny replies in this thread. Mileage comment was something else.
Enjoy it when the time comes, I guess waiting for a car for 7 months which you are planning to keep for 10 years, I expect you get quite attached.
Should have used WordPess
Usually Joomla will auto generate the .htaccess file depending on your site settings, so it isn't something your host will help out with.
Have you tried renaming the .htaccess file to .htaccess.txt? Seeing if this clears the error?
Have you moved the...
Thanks @J333EVO , great information !
Would definitely do the discs, although unless I keep the car for "future classic" purposes, the current discs will easily last the life of my ownership.
I was going to go down the bush route, but once you change one bush I feel like you have to do them...
Cool. Good buy.
I really want a MK1 Golf Gti or Mk2 Golf Gti with special engine in. Are you keeping stock engine?
Should just bite the bullet and buy one.
Yes, I remember reading this.
Although, the NSF was clicking/knocking slightly before I dropped the car off, but I guess that was accentuated once lowered due to driveshafts being under a little more strain. They also managed to pull apart the OSF and re-grease and the noise has gone, so only...
Update:
Had a bit of nightmare in some respects.
Car went in for coilovers and I opted for new ball joints at the same time and also 2 new CV boots as both were split. First phone call was they found swarf in the CV boot and that it was making a clicking noise. So replaced that CV joint. The...
Yeah some great reviews.
The R32 is like a boat and is certainly no track car, so cannot justify spending twice the price on KW's or Bilsteins personally.
Update:
Well I had the DSG and Haldex serviced at the ever brilliant APS in Brackley a few weeks ago, if you a in the midlands and have a VAG, then I 100% recommend this place other than Midland VW, but they are more north midlands than south.
It's only done a few 100 miles since as I've been...
That side shot shows how unbelievable it looks for it's age. Stunning for a 14 year old car.
Can't believe you owned a single car for 5.5 years though, don't think I could ever do that. Figures stack up well though aye!
Thanks.
I've checked online and this said pothole has already been reported twice. So, they are aware and it still hasn't been repaired, so hopefully this gives me a bit of leverage.
To be honest, I'm not overly fussed, like I said, I would have needed to do the tyres in the next 5k and the...
Well, it's nearly been 2 weeks but I've already covered 1k in it, only got 299 from my last tank. Think I'm finding myself driving it harder and harder as I get used to the paddles.
Anyway, on Friday night I managed to hit a pot hole on the M1 slip road going rather swiftly, luckily it didn't...
Inclined to agree. But no great rush to swap back.
Ha, unfortunately it isn't.
Erm, been a while since I sat in the standard seats, but they are very comfy. Had them in my old S3 too so wanted to buy an R32 with them too.
Yeah, they feel heavy too.
Thanks for the comments all.
They are Valeo LED's and I don't think you can buy them any more.
As much as I hate 'aftermarket' lights, they are actually growing on me.
What do people prefer? (left Valeo LED or right standard)
I'm also starting to enjoy the DSG, when in manual mode anyway...
Bar the scene bags, you may find stripe inspiration in this.

And £950 for a paint job is an utter bargain, aslong as it's not a rushed orange peel job, then it's a no brainer.
Ah yes, I forgot to mention that they are aftermarket lights. Apparently something special and potentially only a handful in the UK. Lets hope they are and then I can make some money with a swap back to standards, as I agree with you.
Not sure I should converse with the Skittles man ;)
Yeah, that's my aim. Loved his. Although probably won't go as low as his old one.
Certainly a car any petrolhead has to own. I've owned 2 MK4 Gti's and I cannot stand that chassis, woeful, so had to be the MK5 for me.
Hi,
So I signed up to R32OC around 7 years ago and I’ve been lurking around since.
In that time, I’ve always wanted an R32. I started the search properly 2.5 years after I sold my Edition 30 Golf. A car with all the optional extras and a few tasteful mods. Unfortunately the mileage got the...
Really, how did you manage to come to that conclusion. Probably the most unreliable hot hatch you can buy. Most 60k VXR's have been through 2 GB's.
As a side, I love them, regardless of the "chav" stigma (although this is attached to all Vauxhalls), I just couldn't own one.
I'm in the market for an R32, so I searched "R32" on trusty cs.net. Spent 15 mins reading this thread.... just LOL.
Glad you've sorted it, although it made a good read.
Love the term Skittles, new one on me.
