I have cancelled two policies now and they just took the premium, divided by 365 and worked out how many days 'unused' insurance was left and refunded me that, minus an admin fee.
The AA even refunded me back their broker fee because they were unable to offer me the most competitive price. Winner.
1.2 bullets have been done, and I think when people play with the boot badges they tend to replace them with the new style badges as apposed to remove them completely.
In my experience, those who know its a 1*2 wouldnt be fooled by lack of badges/1.2 bullets.
However, some people around here see the sport badge on my boot and must think its a 1.2 'sport' and try and do a traffic light skank, usually resulting in an overtaking fail on their part.
I think you will be looking at around £300 for the 36k service at an independent specialist - more from a Renault main dealer.
Be careful though, as i was quoted £200 for a 36k service from Renault dealer but they didnt realise that aux belt needed changing, they were only going to change...
Nope.
But they did say that when I added Turinis / Cat back exhaust I might have to pay the £25 (iirc) admin fee. So, I'll do both at the same time and only pay one amendment fee.
You've got to speak as you find, and they have been great so far.
They have been good to me so far, have added sportlines and a BMC CDA this year and they havent charged me an admin fee either time.
Funnily enough they sent me my renewal price this morning: £670 (down £80 from last year).
Tried an equivilant quote with flux: £999.
AS you said, its all about what you think is best for YOUR car and what you can afford.
Out of interest, whats the ball park for CAT cams? £500, £600...??
So what your saying Ben is its a bit like BMC CDA v ITG Maxogen debate.
Same basic job - with the ITG perhaps giving slightly better results - but it all comes down to price.
Cheers Andy - I can make out the tyre dimensions now i'm not on crappy work monitor. Look good on there mate.
As mentioned above, can be picked up ridiculously cheap on the bay for track/winter wheels.
I wouldn't have thought you secure the MDF to the door card.
I presume he would have drilled the MDF and screwed it into the door using the original holes (in the door) and then screwed the speaker to the MDF seperately, or use extra long screws and screw the speaker to MDF to door all in one.
You were parked next to my RB182 in Century Wharf!
Can't believe how much bigger the 197 is compared to my 182.
Car was looking nice mate, but could do with a clean. Lol;)
