If you want a track clio the best one to get is the colour you like and the one thats the cheapest. Whats the difference of the starting weight if you are going to strip it anyway?
It seems how Im after will cost about 50-60 quid which Id rather save if it wasnt worth it. But I do want some stuff for rattles I think that will be one of the best things to sort out.
What sort of stuff did you use and how much did it reduce the sound by? I want to cover most of the interior, looking at not exceeding 15kg as I know the heavy stuff works better. I was mostly after a rattle free interior but want to refine things more now and make for a more relaxing time...
@Filters I waited too long for this. Pas fluid seeping through the boot, just noticed it today doing some work, boot coming off tomorrow now. Checked above and the rez is bone dry so not leaking from above. Ive noticed a more vauge center steering recently and kept turning the wheel while...
Update! They were at 35 psi which the garage put them to, lowered to 30 and put new lower joints on and can safely say they are perfectly fine! Am confident to drive them in snow now like @Louis lol
I didnt like the oil breather being a little filter zip tied to a hose so have done stage 1 which consists of aeroquip push on hose and AN fittings that go underneath the wiper assembly, out of the way and looks tidier. Stage 2 will be a proper catch can but the only space for it is the driver...
16 hubcentrics on my front.
I have 16 front and the 10 axle spacers on mine, also a bit more track up front with the adjustable wishbones and its how it should look from the factory!
As far as I am aware its a straight bolt on. And Im not sure but would think its not restricted to the non sport calipers, although not sure of the different bore sizes if there is any, I know tons of cars use that caliper design though..
Thanks Ill definitely try it, I was going to get some for the a048 after discussion as the are very old but still performed well so never got some.
Does that stuff soak into the tyre or is it more like they are soft on the out layer and will need re reapplying after some miles or a track day?
I was just thinking about this the other day before he posted a video. And I was correct in thinking that every car he buys or other youtubes for that matter is part of their business (tax deductible) Imagine that, you get a 50k corp tax bill so you just go out and buy a porsche
Lack of experience and trusting the internet reviews! I was just under the impression theyd be okay from cold. And its not like im daily'in the clio but I will be using it few times over the winter so didnt want get dedicated tyres as to just keep using the 'performance' tyres into the summer
Did you sort it mate? Ive just bought the hubs, need the lower joints and shafts though, my wishbones give more track as well so needs to be the right length
Just wanna add that the pzeros I had a bit ago were incredible, they were consistent and reliable in any weather. Surprised people chose the soggy michelins over them
So turns out they are the new ad08rS and I was out for a while yesterday so was able to come to the conclusion that they are pretty damn scary lol. Im disappointed, I know its cold but the a048 were so grippy when they were stone cold, more grip than the new tyres when they have a bit of heat in...
@Ant1 Saw in another thread you picking up new parts thought this might be something worthwile? Dont know if theres 2 though

People may be defending him since hes helped them at some point. So now hes done something wrong everyones suppose to become his enemy? If your friend did something wrong youd probably defend them or at least help them, unless youre snake of course.
Hes helped me on here a few times, doesnt...
Would of been better if he went and picked the car up when carl was there and perhaps a year earlier. Fighting in this situation just got the guys friend in more trouble
