Trying out the camera
Yokohama a048r's on the front
Non sport wheel, squib and surrounds back on for mot
Just the top grill to do now. The bumper isnt in a great state, the trim brings out some life in it though
2 lines would go to the rear compensator valve but since the bias valve is 1 inlet and 1 outlet theres little point using both rear pots on the mc to then go into 1 for the valve. If Im not mistaken its also a safety feature about the mc partly failing but probably being mixed up with something...
Just replaced them but there were only 4 I could see not 6. Its a 172 cup loom, is this right? Its been a while since I fit it so couldnt remember how many there were.
Im not sure what Im doing with the multi metre, I set it to Voltage, put the prongs on the connectors but no reading so I cant tell if that means there isnt any power going or Im doing it wrong o_O
Also got the camera from my dad, its a bit too good lol
@VenomUK cup (non abs) mc is 4 ports, standard 1*2 abs mc is 2 ports. If I were you Id just use a 2 port and T the lines, its less fittings to work with and easier to deal with when on the car
I got one of these nice mocal Ts for mine...
I gave the rear trims on the bumper a paint while I had the bumper off. Plan is to do the rest of the car as it makes a big difference. I had already done one to see if it would look okay, used simoniz tough paint.
I litterally just had to do this a couple days ago, I bought a new bulb holder for one of the lights as the connections were roasted. Ive also just bought loads of wiring tools and bits so I can start doing more work on the wiring.
@bloke I want to make my own wheel switch panel with indicators, light flash, horn etc.. Will I have to wire from inside the stalks (circuit boards)?
Also whats the difference between these?

Just bought a multimetre, loads of heat shrink and gauge cutters. Have a solder iron but its a bit old, what does everyone recommend? Also crimping tools. Would spend 50 quid max on both.
Anything else Ill need?
Havnt done anything wiring related before, time to learn, need the tools though. Already deicded to par off the free re test on the mot anyway, cant be asked with deadlines!
So I had a proper look just now, dodgy earths caused this? And I couldnt see anything on the camera and it was raining!
So perhaps I can clean up the pins on the tail light or even get another 'bulb holder, but what about the plug?? Its proper melted.
When It stops raining ill take a better...
