Well the seal inside seems to be joined to the metal end cap thing with the black ring. Nothing moves though, the rack only touches the seals and white seals but mine got a bit chewed up and developed play. Im worried of doing any damage so dont want to try whacking things out

Yes I watched his to take it apart. The picture wasn’t so clear here is another. The black ring is just metal, looks like an oring I know

The seal inside this cylinder, does the cap come off? Because the seal is just being torn slightly and not budging

Well I mean in the mk3 setup it doesnt use 10.9 countersunk so it should be 10x stronger with better bolts! I could well be a pothole(s), It doesnt help I have 630lb springs on the back. It went bang twice in a short time although the caliper spun 90 deg so not sure what happened when.

@1985michael182 Pms 10mm with a toe shim and nope. Tell me this, how much torque would have to go through a 12.9 cap head for the head to snap off? All 4 of them for that matter?

Ive since bought the mk3 hubs and discs and its 100% going to work with only some mild fabrication, but I dont think will be getting it down for a little while with the lock down.

Currently on a racer duo and Its decent but the base of the seat is too small most of my leg is in the air not the seat. Per the sabelt sizes 'A' is a lot bigger on the xl taurus which is what im after but does anyone have one of these seats and does it feel like they support your legs? Also...

I think that its just the wiring that goes to the where the interior lights are which plugs into that green plug in your pic. So only a small part of the loom. @Mbeau Dont suppose you have this part of the loom do you?

Thats the plug that connects the loom, the white plug is the tweeter. The ebay listing is for the matrix I think? Also dont spend 15 quid on 3 plugs, someone will sell the whole interior loom for not much more than that, then you can use it for spares, I have a few different looms now all...

Mine were broken when I first got the car so its not the end of the world. Not sure how much they actually do but would prefer them obviosuly

The mk3 stub axle is internally threaded so get bolted to the beam rather than a nut and bolt through.

The basic spec blower and matrix (as used on 172cup) is a simple setup but again needs either a different loom or splicing and modifying the original. Im sure there is a way you could wire in an on/off switch for the heater but thats out of my skill level im afraid.
