Bad earth, even worse in wet? Mines currently doing exactly the same but haven't had a chance to sort out yet. Check the big ground strap going from chassis to gearbox on the nearside wheel arch and also the connection at the other end of the battery cable...
Update: patch loom in place and everything seems as if it is working as it should. Just need to send some wiring back into the car for a few switches.
However, when cranking there seems to be no sign of firing.
Cranking speed seems to be ok at 250-300 rpm and from that assume it is picking up...
Think it's five bolts; two lower, two middle and one at the top. I have the same issue with one on standby once I bolt my turbo on.
But yeah, jack the engine up, take the top cover/mount off, then undo the bolts and replace.
Bought one of these as well...
It's the VAG fuel rail which has the same bolt & injector hole spacing, just requires a bit of grinding to the alternator bracket so the fpr side doesn't foul too much.
Ok, question to those that have done their ph2 ecu installs whilst retaining DBW...
Have you clamped the stock MAP sensor input to essentially hold the oem ecu at what it thinks is idle, this then to ensure smooth throttle operation throughout?

So a little update, there's been some slow progress as we've had a move to a new house over the last 6 months.
This has meant no man cave and no off street parking so I've had do go to the parents to store everything as well as working around house jobs...

Well done and fair play on the work done so far, it's always a good feeling when you're able to do something yourself... In the new year I should be at the point of welding everything myself for mine.
From what ican see though, your boost pipes like tidy!
What management is that you're using?
Slam your foot on the accelerator and there does seem to be a few ms flat spot before it revs up, assume its the same with all of the clios on fbw, maybe a failsafe the ecu does detecting the correct position of the pedal and not the edu reading a wire short for example?

wouldn't have passed with the lights on so may have got some oil on the abs ring or sensor. They have a habit of disabling the abs/esp if the system malfunctions in any way i.e. dirty sensor/ring -> unable to read -> system doesn't work properly….
Jack it up, spin the wheel and see if its all...
F4R(t) *74 engine stock water oil coolers….
How do they compare to air cooling as i'm wondering whether to take it off and replace with a normal oil take off plate in order not to complicate the existing cooling piping...

I'm doing the opposite after I changed my mind lol, using the clio top end for the bigger inlets and cams then using the F4RT bottom end and putting an ND0 meg box on.
Literally a crapper isn't it… Got back from glastonbury last week to find a bird had don't an acid sh*t on my bonnet and the paint had just peeled upwards… about a 5cm patch of it! Bonnet needs a respray now :(
Why would you want to fit one? clio inlets are bigger!
has been discussed on here a few times for both NA & boosted clios, have a search.
youd either need to drill and tap the clio head to suit the inlets as it's a different bolt pattern or stick a megane head on and swap the internals...
