The normal ones are just as good. I rate the 'Style' model and upwards highly! Studio (pov spec) is a no go but I can imagine it's quite a nice drive still just with no gadgets.
It's the grille that's affected when removing the plate rather than the bumper. Plus no plate = illegal of course.
I'd just leave it - perhaps a subtle drop on Eibach springs as gally mentioned but leave it at that. Keep it clean.
Awesome work and a good writeup. The car is alright... wheels are gash and the interior colour doesn't look good but I doubt the owner gives a f**k.
I can't wait to see how much cars like this are worth in 10 years!
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Give me a shout when you want to go on drives and s**t. As long as there are no retards coming along.
I hope this one isn't a shed like the past few you've had either ;)
Oh and it definitely needs a K&N that only kicks in above 5.5k revs.
Watch out for blows between the (de)cat to centre section join too. Happens on most 182 setups unless you have it modified (sleeved) due to Renault's shoddy design.
It's good practice to change the cat-to-manifold gasket for a genuine replacement part. We can't say if you'll need one but if the gasket hasn't been changed to your knowledge then it's probably overdue.
Why? People run VAG with Bentley and other wheels... are Renault not good enough? :rasp:
It actually looks quite good especially with the colour combination too.
