The point being that if you don't know then you need to drain and replace.
As for the coolant, I went for type d from the dealers , 5 litres pre mixed wasn't expensive.
Nice find , so referring to the Clio as a Renaultsport Clio 182 is infact incorrect and it should be Clio Renaultsport 182.... Minor point I know.... Or is it Renault Clio Renaultsport 182??!
Yep - second vote for Adam @ Wolverhampton & If your in urgent need of something then ECP or GSF if you have one nearby, although adams delivery is normally v.fast anyway.
Fitted 2 new track rod ends and got the alignment sorted.
Was well out on alignment too (4mm he said) so was well needed after recently fitting cooksports and cup shocks
Yes furthest away from the brake fluid cap first , so ns rear, then ns front, os rear, os front. I think that's the correct order. Some people argue there is no benefit to sticking to this order but it's up to you.
A 1 man ezibleed kit will help you too
I have been running these mounts for a while and been fine (Milltek exhaust) however we fitted them to my mates 182 who has a RS 192 and this weekend we noticed the rear hangar on the right backbox has snapped clean off. He is going back to standard issue ones with a little silicone which will...
Going against the grain here.....
I fitted a set of cooksport springs today to my 182 combined with brand new OE shocks, I like the improved looks but the ride has suffered. The ride is so much harsher than standard which is the exact opposite of what the majority of reviews on here state. I am...
Was the coil in working order ?
How secure is the wire/coilpack connection ? Does it have the retaining clip fitted?
Is it definitely not sparking , have you tried moving it closer and having someone else crank the engine?
So there is no spark between the top of the lead and the coilpack connector - you may need an assistant to help crank the engine whilst you have a look & you may need to move it closer, trial and error really.
BUT if you have 12v to the coilpack but no spark then my guess is on the coilpack -...
it sounds like you have a few issues that may/may not be connected. It is normal for the steering to go lighter when travelling faster.
So other than that your having issues starting when hot?
Have you checked the +ve connection to the coil pack (inside the plug, 3rd metal pin). Is it getting 12V?
If so - do you have a spark at the coilpack end (to test- remove a lead and rest it close to the top of the coilpack - you should be able to see it sparking when cranking). If you have a...
Yes - if its not firing the engine would simply keep turning over until
a) you let go of the key.
b) your battery went flat.
and would never start.
It sounds like you mean it fires (starts), runs for a few seconds and then dies?
I recently bought one from RenParts on eBay, for £57
They have a section in the traders bit too

I always wanted one of these a few years ago, was looking at the NA though. Yours looks nice!
Used to scour the owners club too - cant remember the exact name though.
