Spotted a Astra VXR doing about 50 in a 30 followed by a Golf r32 and a Gray Renault sport cutting around traffic like a nob.

Bit of an interesting problem, Clio 182 but running a Golf 02m gear box and a Spec stage 2 clutch with SMF.
So less then 1000 miles ago it was converted using a fully rebuilt box with new SMF fly wheel
clutch and slave cylinder (supplied by spec) and has been running fine with no
issues other...
So it was a crashed car Cat C all the airbags went off... decided strip the interior and make it into a track car by bolting crap onto it and then sell for $$$ as it says track on it!
Just when they thought they were finished someone said lets slap an oil cooler to the front to make it look amazing!
Almost went past there last night... Went to Bingham.

I agree with the OP on what he is saying that you don't know if someone is bad untill you try them, but they might be the best mechanic in the world but with out the tools they can't do a job (so at least confirm they are using the correct timing tools).
