Clio 172 ph1- black, OEM restoration.

Those bent jacking points weren't all that bad really, straightened out nicely too! I did mine this summer but some bits I couldn't get back to an oe look. I BH electroxed mine after deox gel but I do worry about the rust trapped in the layers, dynax ub under the skirts too for extra protection.

    Battery drain testing

Yeah amps DC, tried on the high range and low with both meters. I'm sure it must be me though, I did watch a few YouTube videos first

    Battery drain testing

I think ive got a battery drain problem, if left for a couple of weeks without being driven it will often struggle to start or worse. So with a few days off before Christmas I've tried to test it with a fully charged (new last year) battery and my multimeter inline between negative lead and...

    Monaco 172 (make it mint)

Tell me about it! Replaced my seats last weekend, I'm so stubborn (probably just stupid) couldn't be bothered to jack it up and it's on Grams springs. Quite a squeeze!

    Undersealing recomendations?

Dynax UB dries to a hard wax like finish not as hard as underseal but has rust inhibiting properties and I believe it self seals if damaged. I used it on my rear arches, after 2 to 3 coats it dries black

    Spacers and shims

I did think that, do most places give you a read out with no adjustment for free so I can order what's needed before going back to get it sorted?

    OEM Front speaker differences

They are probably quite good but I think the head unit is the limiting factor. Not sure about the tweeter

    OEM Front speaker differences

I replaced mine with alpine SXE-1325S, they need lead adapters but are a direct fit

    Insurance for multiple cars

Our house has 3 cars, a van and a motorbike, still all on separate policies. I've looked at multi car policies but it gets complicated when you have different policy end dates and main drivers

    Spacers and shims

I think I'm finally going to bite the bullet and get some spacers to throw my cup off set turinis out a bit. I think I've decided on 15mm hubcentric fronts and 10mm rear hub spacers for the rear but I cant decide whether to get them with a bit of camber to go with the 1.5° I'm going to put on...
