I'd rather get the geometry sorted and a once over the car to make sure everything is okay before driving it too hard lol.
Will give that garage a try as I work in Warrington, thank you!
Yes I did. Was well overpriced but had the spec I wanted.
Just a few maintenance issues to sort out (geometry and boot mechanism) and it'll be spot on.
Very nice car! Looks the same as mine externally but I have the darker interior.
Have you got any plans for the car? Get yourself over to Audirs3oc.com if you need help :)
Hey guys, haven't posted on here for years after I got rid of my old Clio. I'll hopefully be joining you all tomorrow :)

That trackday cover seems like a good idea, nobody else has thought of that. However I can't see it being automatically included in a policy for free as it is seen to be really high risk.
What do you guys think of the whole black box idea for younger drivers? Is it worth paying lower premiums...
Hi guys. I work for an insurance company and they are thinking of introducing the black box idea like Norwich Union for younger drivers. Anyways I suggested that we should cover modified cars (with restrictions).
I've been told I have to submit a proper arguement to take to the underwiters...
Wow didn't expect this many replies!
The grill is just a sheet of mesh from Motorworld. I removed the old plastic grill and put this in its place. The grill attaches to some clips so it's fairly secure.
The exhaust is a cat-back Scorpion effort. I say effort as it's not made for my...
Clio had loads of swirls and scratches in the paint so I used a coat of Autoglym paint renovator to remove them, two coats of Ultra Deep Shine to polish it off and a coat of Extra Gloss protection to seal it all in.
Here's some pics:
I cleaned the car with baby shampoo and used Meguiars...
OWNED :(
It was a typing error, the birth certificate of each amp shows just over 1100 watts RMS at 14.4v at 2ohms. Rockford stuff is often underrated but I agree, I don't think they would handle 5500watts either lol. They do take more than 500watts easily though :)
Why would sharing the same airspace sound poo? I'm running 2x 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch subs, 500 watts RMS each. They are sharing the same airspace and I'm running them off 2x Alpine MRDM1000 amps, giving just over 11000 watts RMS at 14.4v at 2ohms to each sub. As you may know if your clued up...
I'd run them in the same airspace but make sure the airspace inside the box is the airspace for each sub but doubled.
As said above, I'd rather spend double the money on a single sub and a decent amp. It will sound much better than two cheaper subs and a cheaper amp.
I've got a 2001 pre facelift Clio and the front bumper seems to be loose. I can shake it up and down with jsut my hand. Doesn't seem to be falling off, just concerned that it's not secure. How can I tighten it? Where are the bolts that hold it?
Any help appreciated thanks.
JPEX clio: pm me a price and where your from, I'd be very interesed :)
Exhaust is a Scorpion cat-back system, twin 3" inward rolled pipes.
Location is Liverpool city centre, at the new que (sp?) car park. There were two floors and the roof that were completely empty mid-afternoon hehe.

Hi guys thanks for your replies :)
I'm not going to do anything else to the car, I've had it five years and it's time to change soon. I've removed the tints and lexus lights and not really got anything planned other than sorting little bits out. Car has been lowered -35mm front, -30mm rear...
