    I've changed pistons on 40k cars, so just keep your eyes out. Although I agree with Dan. Most likely cause in an injector.

    The amount of 182 Clios I've seen recently with cracked pistons is unbelievable. Do a compression test before you hand over the cash to be sure.

    It stops DET which is a factor of heat and cylinder pressures being too high. Your moving the spark towards TDC, in some cases after it!

    172 Cup Turbo

    No that its a major thing as it cant flow much air but its a good idea to block off the pin prick hole in stainer plate. Although a very small amount you dont really want to blow boost into the crankcase.

    Are you 100% sure the fuel pump is priming? Check the replys in the engine bay fuel box right next to the battery. Make sure they aren't corroded. And make sure they are functional.

    Are you checking the coil pack when cranking? I think it's the pin next to the spare hole that should live up. Can't be 100% sure tho.

    In my eyes mate there is no debate to have. James has an Rs2 with cams and so have me and chip and it works fine. As long as you time them in correctly I can't see why there's an issue.

    No Neil I didn't. I fitted a Stone Automotive RS2 inlet (witch works amazingly with the cams. One of the best mods I've done) so I can map it all together.
