Even a lot of Renault dealer think all the wishbones are the same.
I can clear it up now 100% They are all differnet!
They all have there own part number and they all are still avalible at present time
As chip said, for a 172 cup, you'd be better off buying so non cup wishbones as the front hole is closer to the back of the wishbone, and drilling them forward.
As the cup wishbone already has the hole nearer the front the new hole you drill will become overlapped with the old. Not that I think...
I always join the omex loom in the hairbrush. that way you can use the standard cars relays for powering up the Injectors and coil with 12v
It also keeps the loom neat and just looks standard.
V-tec- The dephaser will become live at a set RPM/ Throttle angle and will stay live to the limmiter
Aux-2- The dephaser will become live at a set RPM/ Throttle angle but you can then switch it off again before the limmiter. You also have the option to leave it live the whole way.
id use Aux2

Considering you can get a set of Cup wishbones from RenSpares for £35 delivered, I think...
The kick is also overemphasised by Renault pulling out a load of ign timing just before hand, to make the engine lack a bit of power at that point. That's why with a re-map the kick feels much less aggressive. It's also the reason they become slightly better on fuel as the added ign timing makes...
Trouble with the Meggys is, you can already easily get more power out of them than the bottom end can handle, witch means a full forged built before having a play with anything. :(
It's that saying that has inspired me to do most of the crazy stuff I've done! (It can't be don't)
197 inlet on 172- done!
Turbo standard F4R730 to over 260bhp- done!
197 cams in 172- done!
RS2 on Ph1- done!
