    Doesn't always tell you everything but yes. Start with a leak off test when they are hot!

    Get it plugged in. I bet the fault code will be low diesel pressure. You will need a set of injectors if this is the case.

    The RS2 doesn't make the valves anymore likely to fail. People update the valves as they are a know weak point.

    You need to write down the code from the top of the injector. Then just take them to anyone with Clip and they will code them for you.

    Old pump had done 167,500 miles and very occasionally under high load the engine management light would briefly come on with the code Low Rail Pressure. As I was doing the cambelt anyway I thought I might as well put a pump on, as if it did finally give up the goast, I didn't want it to swarf up...

    They are really really really easy engines to swap. Just take the front bumper off. The only issue I can see you having in the injectors are coded and massively fragile. Carefully take all the injectors out of the engine from the van, and put them in your new engine in exactly the same...

    I have a compete engine for sale with brand new genuine Renault belt kit that have done 0 miles that I can deliver to dan! I will take £400+ your old engine in return. Just get dan to swap them over!

    I just got home myself! Needless to say the DCi performed faultlessly. Really do love that car, so easy to drive and perfect for long trips! Barely have to change gear thanks to the torque it's got! Pleasure to gate crash your meet. Thanks for the kind words on my little shed build. :)
