Got the engine out today ready to flog. It's a Toyota 18R-G engine, apparently worth a couple of quid so I'm happy with that. That left me with just a rolling chassis so I can start doing all the wiring. I also decided to be a big kid and lay the bodywork out!

It has to be said, I do have a weird obsession with the Cosworth YB. Nothing comes on boost quite like it.

I've also got 2 dead cars with the same filter issues killing the engine.

The bodies come off the head at too much of a steep angle meaning the filter space is compromised. The filter supplied with the original kit was piss poor and aloud dirt into the engine and killed it. I believe the problem has been rectified on the newer kits tho.

What so wrong with ATpowers then Dan! At least they are supplied with a proper filter that actually filters dirt out!
